This is definitely the lowest I've ever been  about rovers.

Well be getting relegated next season I'm sure bit that will actually feel like a relief because these parasites may just dump us then.

They've absolutely killed the joy of rovers for me, and for thousands of others. They deserve far worse than a snowball in the grid

Two snowballs in the grid? Pray for snow

The players have lost the will for it imo.

The Eustace shambles, and the rest of the circus, has knocked the stuffing out of them.

And VI was never the person to lift them back up. An Allardyce/Dyche type might have.

That moment's been and gone, and after the last few seasons of setting up camp regularly in the Top 6, I genuinely fear we may never be there again for a long time.

Top 6 League 1 maybe the next target.

I'm a heavy mix of anger and apathy. Feels justified and warranted, rather than the usual emotional and reactionary.

Allardyce and Dyche were always unlikely. Warnock was a decent option.

A mate at the match has just said it was a completely spineless performance with zero structure, he won't be travelling away again and cannot wait to get home.

Warnock would have been perfect.

I said at the time, what we needed (and still need) is a motivator.
The hours on the training ground to make us a solid enough unit had already been done.

What was needed was somebody to find that balance between giving them a cuddle and lighting a fire under their arses.
Ismael does neither.

We havent played any specific style under this clown. Just slow, passive, tedious shite.

Revert back to criticising previous managers though, I am guessing you arent concerned that we may have just employed a shit manager on a long term deal as you cant bare to see the reality in front of you.

Another win predicted on Friday no doubt

Pleased to say I have walked away. Season ticket holder. Not going again this season. Not renewing...I couldn't care less anymore. I am done with it all. We had better players owners, in the old 3rd division in the 70s...

Like when a manager loses the players, the club has lost the fanbase. More than ever before.

Looking at our remaining fixtures just now, the only one I think we WILL win is Millwall at home and even that's not a given.

We could easily finish in the bottom half after being 5th when VI came in.

Couple awful Owners with a bad Manager and its a total recipe for disaster.

The warning signs are there for all to see next Season..what should be a proud celebration could become a funeral.

The owners/board are draining money/assets from the club every single day and are actively sabotaging any chances of gaining promotion. Why should fans put up with this every single week? If Waggott/Pasha/Gestede wants to continue watching games from the stands, then leave them in an empty stadium from now on. Here are some reasons as to why the club will never progress under current ownership:

- Will probably fail a fit & proper test if ever promoted to EPL, forcing the owners to sell their "beloved" asset.

- Money generated from sales of Szmodics, Wharton etc. will never be reinvested back into the squad.

- Court case in India will drag on indefinitely; owners will use it as an excuse to not sending funds overseas.

- Ismael was not the best candidate for the team out of the supposedly 150 but he was the best candidate for the owners when it comes to sabotaging this season. Constant switches in formation, starting Woodrow over Gueye, already talking about plans for next season etc. This is a manager/head coach who was appointed for a specific "demolition job" for sure.

- Half of the squad will leave by the end of season (loanees returning, short term contracts expiring). No funds will be made available to sign new players. Incomings will be of the cheaper kind, quality of the squad will drop.

- Relegation to L1 next season looks likely at this point.

Owners are delusional and are dreaming about selling club assets until the internal debt is cleared. That will never happen. Final nail in the coffin for their ownership will be the downgrade of the Academy from Category 1 status and failure to bring in a new Adam Wharton to the ranks. When all assets are sold and gone, so are they. Club at that point will probably be in a really bad shape and could take several years before being able to climb up the leagues again.

I'm out for a good while, too. I know its not as much as several others will have travelled but I'll have driven six hours and walked another to get there today. The team barely bothered turning up and the absolutely fucking appalling manager we've got couldn't be bothered to clap the supporters. I'm the fool. I won't be putting myself out for this for the foreseeable future. If a big protest against Venkys were to take place in Blackburn, I'll get there. But nothing more. Today was a harsh blow to my remaining loyalty to a club that doesn't really exist anymore. And it was emphasised by the clearly totally different environment, mood and spirit of Portsmouth FC, despite their own years of struggles. Our club, as of 2025, can't match up to anything like it. That was very sad to feel and that's on Venkys. I don't want to have any part of their business empire, anymore. I'm out. Now to drive home, still displaying my shirt. I'm proud of what it used to represent, nothing of today.

All of the rotten owners and senior so called "Management" OUT!!!!

Yeah, I'm exasperated and miserable. We've been shat on for well over a decade by owners who have no interest in us. I can't do this any more

The club requires a guy who can grow the team on no budget, grow with the team and grow the club, that's their pitch to prespective employees.

Yet they already found that guy a few years ago his name was Yon spelt Jon but they screwed him over and had to get a pragmatist in who they then screwed over like the other guy.

this fella is here because he's probably a pal of Gestede and just wanted a job, not this job just any job and i think the evidence of that is overwhelming.  Nobody wanted him he doesn't look like he really wants it he doesn't even talk like he wants it the whole thing from top to bottom is now filled with people just going through the motions and collecting wages because that's their job, i include at least half the team in that.

The season can't end soon enough for me and at least the chaos of the coming summer will garner a bit of interest but probably for all the wrong reasons.

Yep, him too.

Maybe deluded, but I think Sam might have come. The wink in the podcast, a point to prove, short term (months) contract so no longterm upheaval to lifestyle at his age.

One last roll of the dice, and the dangle of a big fat bonus to buy himself another villa.

I know it's the nostalgia sucking me in, but I would have been confident of him getting us in the playoffs. And from there, the chance to win the lottery.
