There were a few boos from some around us at the end but the fans are understandably devastated after the capitulation of late and  the spite and venom was more aimed at Venkys than the players.
I don’t think there was one player amongst our lot who was not trying which made our inability to dictate the pace all the more galling.
In the match we suffered a bombardment of wind assisted up and unders and a weak referee who permitted every Bishop pull and tug that put us under so much pressure.  It reminded me so much of our failure to manage the windy conditions at Plymouth this autumn.
Season over and out I’m sorry to say.

no we wer`nt,given he was a good coach but you can`t win every week and key injuries in a small squad like ours will mean a drop off in results, don`t think we`de have lost 5 straight games against rank opposition with him in charge,do you????

Well yes it was only due to smods we kept up last season, eustace is not the manager you think he is, granted this guy is awful, not had any insparation since JDT and then maggott and co screwd that up AGAIN, we need to get rid of the players and start again.

Personally didn't have a right lot of interest in this game. Forgetting the playoffs now, and we're safe for this season atleast.

On reflection of this season What a total waste of time and money. Complete shit show from top to bottom. Yes the highs were good at the time but the inevitable occurred.

No, it was just a poor analogy. Maybe you should have said a downhill skier.

Dreading Friday now.

Boro will be salivating at the prospect of this game. The playoffs have opened right back up for them and they get to strike first by playing on the Friday, against statistically the current worst team in the division.

They'll have done their homework and worked out our confidence is shot and that we don't even look awake until we concede and will come flying out at us. If we concede early it's gonna get nasty.

I think now pressing than that, new owners are needed. 150th anniversary next year. Without new owners, the club won't be around to have a 175th I don't think

It will be they'll never let it go bust but where their managed decline will leave us is anybody's guess and i'd take a punt on another decade of this ownership giving us lean times the like of which this club has never seen before.

The message form fans now needs to be loud and clear, invest or #### off.

There is no in between anymore.

They'll already claim they're 'investing' in keeping the lights on (despite that recently being funded by player sales).

The message just has to be fuck off. They are not worthy custodians of this club - never have been and never will be. It's been 15 years, they've had their chance.

They don't listen. Never have, never will.

Would of been nice to go into our 150th anniversary season in a good place. That should of been a target 5,10 years ago. Missed out on a big pay packet there

Agreed, I just want rid of them.

15 years of this shit, it's someone else's turn to suffer. We've paid our dues.
