Wtf was the point of that from the ref? Ball struck his heel, slowing our attack but still landed to one of ours in space. Blows the whistle, insists on betting the ball then does a drop ball to us, slowing the counter even more and giving Pompey time to get all bodies back.

Are there any half decent refs in this league at all?

Woodrow looks like he’s running through treacle.  Absolutely baffling he’s starting ahead of Gueye.

He just controlled the ball by skying it, it was like a clearance.

I believe it’s the law. If ball hits ref now it has to restart with a drop ball at that spot given to the side in posession before it hit the ref.

we ar`nt scoring unless it`s an own goal or wonder shot.easy team talk from the pompey manager "look lads, this lot won`t score, just keep it tight and don`t do anything stupid, easy 3 points for us and a good night out after

It struck me how casual Murphy was in celebrating the goal. With their league position and ours, going ahead after 20 minutes should've seen them overjoyed, but I got the feeling they fully expected to win today.

I'm amazed that Woodrow has stayed on the pitch this long.

Granted, one decent scoring opportunity, but aside from that...I mean, I've genuinely seen better players down at Pleasy on a Sunday morning.

Just all a bit grim. We're existing, nothing more.
We've become a Preston.

I thought that was the rules now that they had to stop it

If that's the letter of the law, fair enough I guess. Seems a stupid law, to remove context from the decision. You should just be able to play advantage like with a foul.

It is, certain posters just like slating the referee for the sake of it.

In general, if the officials make a bad decision the team need to get over it. It's not due to dodgy officiating we're heading for one point out of (fifteen is it?)

I've lost count.

We're not good enough 1 v 1 right across the park - I despise conspiracy and speculation but I'm starting to believe the rumour that players who are out of contract in the summer aren't risking their bodies.

Refs are, on average, pretty poor but as often in our favour as not so I try not to let it be a concern unless it’s ridiculous.

Control the controllables - which too often we don’t do

Listening to the Radio Lancs commentary, sounds like Sonny is having a shocker ! He is usually our most consistent player and today, even he can’t find a teammate with a simple pass, so frustrating and predictable performance and looks like the outcome we all expected.

Whatever you were doing was a better use of your time.

Is there any indication of impetus for this to change, or is the manager still stood on the touchline hands in pockets like a bouncer of a small town wetherspoons

We haven't played the long ball game tho under Ismael.

Eustace's tactics at times were limited and we don't created enough chances and to be fair it doesn't help when Pears flapped like a bird and Hyam/Carter get bullied by Derby's front 2.

Most of these players have played in 3-4-3 formation.

In Lowe's last game, we got battered by Swansea.

First game under Ishmael was literally hoof n hope
