I wasn't watching at time but was Coyle worse than Steve Kean?

There is a lot to be said about Steve Kean and Blackburn Rovers, all of it discussed on here for years.

He hasn't managed, or even coached, at any level of the English professional game since he left Rovers almost 15 years ago should tell all you need to know about him.

He's also a convicted drink driver who'd defence in court was to imply that Rovers fans spiked his drink.

Ismael will be compared to Kean by the end of his tenure, no doubt in my mind.

Given how long his contract is, maybe. We don't fire managers under Venkys, apart from that mad spell after Kean, and he won't be in as much of a rush to leave as Eustace and JDT, with a longer deal, if results stay like this and he has no suitors. That would make him super unpopular.

Wow didn't expect that effort from Woodrow.

Anyone heard VI's Radio Lancs interview for this game? He said that when he took the job he had targeted the international break as the period he would use to change the tactics and get his message across to the players, this was apparently agreed when he took the job, according to him.

So I'm curious to know what they worked on in the last fortnight, as it is well and truly on him at this point.

He also denied owning a dog, when he obviously did, why else would you have a XL bag of dog biscuits in

the kitchen.

There must be none league players who can do a better job than Woodrow and for less. Or just pick out anyone having a kickabout up Witton Park.

Michael appleton comes close. I thought he'd be a good out of the box appointment but he was terrible

To be fair that season was a right shit show off the pitch. Neither Berg nor Appleton showed anything, but the infighting going on makes Waggots reign look stable.

That's clearly a straight red for the Portsmouth player.

Looked “an old-fashioned yellow card” on first viewing, to me

Appleton, Berg, Ince, Hodgson, Kean, Coyle, Ismael.

This has been a bad three months even by Rovers standards.

Harsh on Hodgson…player power did for him…Look at his record everywhere else .
