Unfortunately I think to most that would just come across as 'shit fanbase' 'stadium too big for them' etc.

something more explicit and large would be needed to capture attention. Banners would probably be removed. Perhaps a group going, front row of the JW with a letter on each t shirt spelling "Waggott out" or Suhail or Venkys etc.

More than likely a loss, Boro got a good win yesterday and their playoff hopes have been reignited.

Rovers with apathy throughout the club from top to bottom, there's very little chance of a result here.

I share your pain and understand your feelings but if Carlsberg did protests, we would see a full and toxic Ewood and everyone leaving at HT or on 75 minutes. Shows the watching world our potential and our clear disgust of the regime.

Let's stick to the game plan as per Group Statement and support the team. Its a group effort and if people want to come back down for the last few games to show our fanbase is still there and what it can be then do so in force

I think a full turn out with some banners saying

"This is how Ewood used to look"

"This is how Ewood could look"

"This is how Ewood should look"

I truly don’t think anything works. Owners are trying to squeeze every cent from the fanbase. When they’re done, they will leave the fine old club in the dust.

I’ve said it before, if I lived within 50 miles of Ewood, I’d have season tickets. It’s the only Blackburn Rovers we’ve got. I don’t begrudge any fan going to see the club they love.

Prediction: We get 2 points the rest of the season. Looking at who we play, I have no clue who those points are coming against. Not this week, though.
0-2.

I don’t think next Fridays game is going to be very cheerful to say the least. But we are only 5 points off play offs a positive result on Friday and maximum points against Wednesday and we’re still in the mix. I know it’s dogshit atm and I know things are shocking on the pitch results wise but stranger things have happened. RTID

Im not sure any stranger things have happened in football. This is a club whose owners have totally neglected it for 15 years and a side who subsequently has regularly experienced drastic nosedives post christmas as we are seeing this season with a run of 4 wins in 19. And whose new manager has lost 4 successive games to struggling sides and has displayed continious incompetence. It would probably require winning all 7 games to get into the top 6.

I include Leicester's title win and Greece's Euro win in not being stranger things.

Not sure the owners are imo it's more a case of the select few running the club for them in Blackburn who are on such a good number they won't ask the owners for more investment.

Because it makes them look good, keeps them in wages and ego, if you listen to Waggot and some of his past interviews hes been itching for this model for years.

Forgetting any disagreements on the team and ultimately in terms of football, the season is over now.

That is a perfect showing as to how bad our recruitment has been. 3 signings from the god knows how many we have made this season, 2 are forwards who have 6 league goals each, and ones a veteran centre back. Hedges, Dolan and Pears still there.

Its not a criticism of the team you would pick, its a criticism of the squad we have. Still, more than enough available to get more than zero points against 4 relegation strugglers.

I dont agree the season is over either. We need to win games of football. Supporters have spent their hard earned money backing these players and club, they need to perform better. Confidence is low but we need to wins games and score goals.

You can criticised my team but you don't say what your team would be, so what would it be?

Pears is in cos I dont rate Toth based on what I've seen.

Not going the Hedges and Dolan debate yet again!

I didnt criticise your specific team, in fact I went out of my way to try and be clear on that to avoid you saying that.

It was to highlight how poor recruitment has been, somewhat down to Gestede and co but mainly due to the budget. The fact that Pears is an automatic pick because we again found a worse keeper somehow is a great example.

correct you did, so my apologies for that.

So what would your team be for this game?

If Karbgo and Beck were fit, I would be picking them. Some signings are squad signings like Sanderson and Forshaw not starting 11 players.

Its only based on what I watched with Toth. He doesn't fill me with any confident and we need to start our recruitment in the summer with a new number 1 and 2 keeper being sign

My point wasnt about the game in general. It was about the poor recruitment that has led to that being a potential starting 11.

Ultimately, its hard to have any real investment in the game. The season has gone, and the chance of a very poor manager getting a result with a limited squad is low. The more interesting thing will be the atmosphere and how toxic and volatile it is towards the owners and board.

We wont sign 2 new keepers in the summer. Pears will be number 1, Toth will either be number 2 or sent to some obscure team with a cheap back up in to replace him.
