If this was away from home, I would be thinking 2 or 3 nil to The Boro, even though we have beaten them twice already this season under old management..

Because this is at home and because a lot is at stake for them (Boro), it might still be quite cagey. I expect them to start well and if they get the early goal we will fold. However, even if they are well on top early on, but don't get the early goal I think it will become a fraught cagey contest which could go either way, just because of the pressure they'll be feeling as opposed to any quality we offer.

I don't know what others think, of course I want Rovers to win and see a good performance, but I'm really not bothered anymore if we don't. It makes no difference this season. If we somehow fluke a win, it will give some sections of the fan base misplaced hope that we can get into the playoffs, which we absolutely will not do. It wil be typical for us to pick up a couple of unexpected wins at this point to make it look like we've 'had a good go' at promotion.

On paper they have a better team, on paper they have a better manager, statistically we are the worst team in the division based on recent form.

Sadly I see a cagey, poor quality match finishing Rovers 0-1 Boro

Looking forward to telling Pasha, Waggott et Al what I think through the medium of song instead.

After last nights win for Derby, we are rock bottom of the table, using results posts Christmas.

Even if we win tomorrow, which I very much doubt, we are not suddenly, going on a winning streak.

Play offs are long gone, this is all about getting into those 3 charlatans in the boardroom and making them feel as uncomfortable as possible

To what end? They ain't going nowhere and they already know how we feel about them. John Williams, Bob Coar and St Jude would struggle under this ownership. Flogging a dead horse perhaps, have an extra pint at the game instead.

Big questions need to be asked about what Ismael's training as injuries have multiplied since he came in.

By all accounts Ismael stands there shouting "intensity", whilst Dean Whitehead flogs the players to within an inch of their lives.

It is unclear as to if Ismael is shouting at Whitehead or the players

Back to being pretty thin on the ground in certain positions:

--------------Pears

JRC-----Batth----Hyam---Riberio

-------Tronstad---Travis

Dolan-------Cantwell-----Hedges

--------------Gueye

Yea we've not really have a good stint at 'full force' plus January attributes since feb

Have they? It's been awful sine Dec/Jan.

Because Suhail and Waggott take some responsibility for how the club is being run, and rattling Suhail’s cage is as close as we get to rattling Venkys’.

Hey I'm not criticising, each to their own, if you think it will make a difference then go for it.

For me when I watched that interview I was just struck by a) how lost they all looked and b) how they had no idea how to move forward.

I'm reminded of that Churchill comment about nice guys which I'm paraphrasing as:

They're modest men with much to be modest about!

They are labouring under a system of delegated budget limits. Put the two things together and what do expect to get. Exactly what we've got.

Chasing them down is just flogging a dead horse mate.

Venkys leaving is the only thing that will make any difference at all, and that's not happening.

I’m really on same hymn sheet as you, but clearly the groundswell of protest within the last week has rattled a few cages.

Suhail is no longer the invisible man, and there’s no doubt he will be reporting events back to the owners.

He is clearly feeling the heat.

I absolutely agree that Venkys leaving is the only thing that would really change things, and believe the best way of achieving that in the medium to long term is by not buying match or season tickets.

If you go to a match to protest you are still giving the club money, and that is better for them than people not turning up at all.

Tomorrow evening could well be my last time at Ewood for years, (I’m a season ticket holder, so not giving them any extra money), and I’m going to make the most of it by “expressing myself “.

Whilst that won’t achieve the aim of removing Venkys, it will be therapeutic for me 🙂

This is the team I think Ismael will picked based on his press interviews.

              Pears

JRC  Hyam  Batth  Ribeiro

        Buckley  Travis

Dolan     Cantwell    Hedges

                Ohashi

Your apathy is exactly what they want. Making life hard for these clowns makes it harder for Venkys.

We have injuries before Ismael came in didn't we? Are most of the injuries not happening during games like Dennis, Beck, Karbgo ones?

We do pick up lot of muscle injuries and it is something Rovers head of technical Adam Owen is looking at.

I would say that midfield is very weak and no attacking threat at all

Unfair mate.

Apathy - lack of interest, enthusiasm, or concern.

Really?! Read my posting history.

I believe in defining the hell out of the object, defing the success criteria, listing the options  evaluating each and deciding on the way to go. The object is Venkys out, do you really believe protests of any kind will make a hapeth of difference. It won't. Like a mate of mine used to say about his job, working in this place is like peeing in your pants, gives you a nice warm feeling inside but no one ever notices.

There are better ways than protest. Stop attending may work.

Off topic, I live outside Ewood. Stadium's been getting jet washed past few days..

Let’s pray they’re making it look nice for potential buyers.
