I don't know whether to watch another dismal performance and defeat Tuesday night against Sheff Wed, or watch something more interesting like emerdale farm. I'm a glutton for punishment, it will probably be Rovers.

I might hit myself in the face with a brick for 90 minutes.

Evidently we can't afford anyone, so that point is moot.

We clearly have different standards. He's simply not good enough - neither quick enough to play on the wing or clinical enough to play as a 10.

I love his work rate, but I hate how wasteful he is with possession.

The point isn't moot, it's the most important factor.

You get what you pay for......... 300k for the pair.

Bayes' interview was better but what I can't fathom is why no one asked "is £4.5m enough Suhail?" when that was stated as the budget as if it were something to be proud of.

That's a £4.5m total budget across a summer and January transfer window and includes any loan fees etc. It means juggling approx £2.5 million in summer and £2m in winter and that transfer fees must be under that.

It isn't enough to ensure you stay in the Championship and isn't enough after selling what we have sold.

Bonkers.

Bayes should have asked why so many senior staff have walked out/handed in notice this season. John Park and the academy head Stuart Jones in particular. He should also have asked about the rumoured loss of Cat 1 status this summer although the answer would have been the usual pack of lies.

Also how has Guestede been propelled from work experience guy to (effectively) director of football in the space of 12 months? How does his business qualification help in coaching-related issues? Whilst Bayes interview was a bit more searching then the earlier in-house feather duster whitewash, it was still excessively deferential and certainly did not reflect the anger of most of the supporters.

Travis was one of few players who played their heart out. So was Dolan.

JRC is being played out of position. Buckley sprayed a few passes but where was Tronstad?  Gueye is an embarrassment.

Oh and Travers, their goalkeeper, was another (of many) to visit Ewood and show Pears how to catch crosses and shots.

But I'm nit-picking. The club is stuffed because of the Vs.

Gueye is a complete liability. He gets booked early on for ridiculous challenges and has to be taken off for fear of a red card to follow. Also he just charges around with no awareness of what's around him. Although Ohashi has his limitations the attack looked more potent and likely to score after he came on at half time.

As potent as a scorpion with no sting.

I have been told this morning that the players on the club's advice didn't exit the ground through their normal route (via Reception in the JW Stand) for security reasons. They were secreted through a side door and had some of the Security team escorting them to their cars.

If this is true I'm waiting for some narrative from the club about hostility towards the players when there has been nothing of the sort. It also shows a weakness amongst this group of players. Why shouldn't they face the fans providing there isn't any personal abuse or threats.

Shades of Kean here with his own bodyguard.

Just fundamentally a nasty, cynical, small-time regime that since 2012 have had the life of Riley around Ewood in their club ties swanning around the lounges and such like as they systematically downsize the club and lower its standards.

Then overnight they’ve been smoked out of their hole and they don’t like it one bit - so dividing their own fans is the only tactic they’ve ever had. Problem is Swag-hail most have now seen through it and momentum against you doesn’t subside when results are so poor - of course said results are shite due to your own ridiculous decision making… so a lesson there, keep taking the cheap option and eventually the house of cards collapses right on you.

Now here's the thing.  All those I know - all blame Venkys/the board for the complete shambles of a club we have - including the appointment of a crap manager. I would go as far as saying that the majority of the people simply accept the bulk of the players simply aren't good enough to be playing week in, week out.  As such any hostility is aimed at those higher up the chain. It is just a feeling of complete apathy towards the players.

Can we say the same about those dwindling few who remain in the: what more can venkys do/the board are trying their best/we have a small fan base camp? They are clearly angry, but have no other option than to blame the players/manager for everything.

Kind of ironic.

It is in the stooges interests to paint the players as 'victims' too.

Aside from a bit of booing I have heard nothing directed towards the players.

I don't know for sure if it's true but I saw something about Dolan being forbidden by the club from some event later the week.

They're going to allege threats or similar, can see that' being they're next slimy move.

Waggott sitting there in the cushy Jack Walker Stand with a bodyguard tells you everything you need to know about these people.

Seems the club stopped Dolan from a stint meeting the fans. What was the reason, behind that, where they scared he would be attacked?

dolans contract is up,he`s leaving, the evil trio are obviously scared he might say something about them so they`ve stopped him attending

Sounds about right.

Hopefully, he will spill the beans, once he leaves.
