This is what a team that’s been invested in looks like against our ragtag bunch. Eustace was performing literal miracles! I think the players are trying, they are just not good enough and it’s humiliating. Chronic underinvestment is coming home to roost.

They're trying in the sense that some of them are running around, but they look  like they met for the first time in the car park 10 minutes before kick off.

Because he is a dreadful defender. He has been at fault for several goals this season, a season in which he has rarely played.

You could replace the likes of Hedges, Pears and Hyam with cones and you’d  see a marked improvement.
