No. Want Buckley for his passing quality and to find those quality passes we need in attacking areas

I think I remember him doing one of those vs Newcastle in the cup, then maybe one other time back in 2021. Really got to rattle my brain though to remember Buckley + quality used together

I dont agree the season is over either. We need to win games of football. Supporters have spent their hard earned money backing these players and club, they need to perform better. Confidence is low but we need to wins games and score goals.

You can criticised my team but you don't say what your team would be, so what would it be?

Pears is in cos I dont rate Toth based on what I've seen.

Not going the Hedges and Dolan debate yet again!

A pointless exercise in picking your 11.

If you don't think our season is over then you need to pop along to Starbucks and get several Espresso shots down you to bring you to your senses.

The best thing that can happen to us on Friday is Middlesborough hammer us and Ewood turns in a way not seen since the 1970's - all in front of live Sky TV.

Think Middlesbrough are dark horses for the play-offs - in Conway, Azaz, Iheanacho and Whittaker (any of whom would walk into our team) they carry a real goal threat and the way our defensive solidarity has dissipated, this could get embarrassing with us shipping 3, 4 or even 5 goals without reply.

Given the goal threat Middlesbrough carry, it would be utter madness to leave Tronstad out as you would like to.

Got your season ticket yet?  If so, hope you've used your credit card otherwise your money might just have gone down the sh1tter!

You never know Buckleys one in ten game, might coincide with Dolans one in ten game.

Unfortunately I think to most that would just come across as 'shit fanbase' 'stadium too big for them' etc.

something more explicit and large would be needed to capture attention. Banners would probably be removed. Perhaps a group going, front row of the JW with a letter on each t shirt spelling "Waggott out" or Suhail or Venkys etc.

Which I always counter with "your club would be dead in the same situation".

I don’t think next Fridays game is going to be very cheerful to say the least. But we are only 5 points off play offs a positive result on Friday and maximum points against Wednesday and we’re still in the mix. I know it’s dogshit atm and I know things are shocking on the pitch results wise but stranger things have happened. RTID

It's bonkers how we're still so close to the playoffs. We've lost 10 games this calendar year.

Imagine if they'd backed Eustace - despite all the crap around the club we'd be looking forward to a Playoff game right now.

He's genuinely not fit to lace Tronstad's boots. Could you imagine if they played against each other? Tronstad would have his slippers out.

Fair play to Gibson for sticking by Carrick during a very sticky spell.

For what it’s worth, I think that Eustace would’ve done the same with even a modest amount of investment in January.

If Boro score first, the atmosphere will become toxic very quickly.

I don’t feel like attending because the season is dead for us, but I’ll go as it might be my last visit to Ewood for a good while.

I’m definitely boycotting home games from next season.

My point wasnt about the game in general. It was about the poor recruitment that has led to that being a potential starting 11.

yes I know what you think of this season recruitment,

Ultimately, its hard to have any real investment in the game. The season has gone, and the chance of a very poor manager getting a result with a limited squad is low. The more interesting thing will be the atmosphere and how toxic and volatile it is towards the owners and board.

The season hasn't gone, we have to win the next game and see what happens, Both Coventry and WBA lost this weekend, and this could be starting of a losing run, we just don't know.

I will be investment in the game and I want to win the game and starting winning games and picking up points.

We need to get behind the players during the game.

We wont sign 2 new keepers in the summer. Pears will be number 1, Toth will either be number 2 or sent to some obscure team with a cheap back up in to replace him.

I have said what I think we need in terms of summer recruitment and for the Goalkeeper area of the team, Not for this thread to be honest.

It was a subtle joke, perhaps too subtle.

We will have to win most likely 7 out of 7 to get into the play offs. At least 6 if we are lucky. If you think that is remotely possible then you are going to be sorely disappointed.

I suspect you are going to be pretty annoyed if you are going expecting a crowd focused solely on "getting behind the players."

Let's stick to the game plan as per Group Statement and support the team. Its a group effort and if people want to come back down for the last few games to show our fanbase is still there and what it can be then do so in force

I think a full turn out with some banners saying

"This is how Ewood used to look"

"This is how Ewood could look"

"This is how Ewood should look"

I like this idea.

It's shuts our neighbours down the road up aswell, who shout deadwood.

If you think i am going to get annoyed over that then you are deluded. Much more important things going in the world then getting annoyed over that.

I think it does just show how completely dogshit this league it outside the top 3. The top 2 will be Sheff utd and Leeds and the other team in top 3 will lose in play offs. Anyone can literally beat anyone.

I like the idea of a full ground voicing their dis -satisfaction with the owners and their hired goons.

Will it happen?

Not a scooby's.

The inevitably dire attendance will make the point almost as well.

Have a look at the comments under the club's Facebook advert for the match.

The tide has definitely turned and the majority are going to start voting with their feet.

The worrying thing about that is at least 50% of the fans that walk away will find other, better, things to do with their time and money and they’ll be lost for ever.

Absolutely right.

Since Eustace left,  have even turned down 2 'freebies' to watch Rovers.

The desire has now all gone and that's me finished until we have new owners, a new executive management and a new manager / head coach.

I still think an empty stadium is the best way to get rid of, IMO, the fools and incompetents owning / running Rovers.

We need desire, burning ambition and integrity to resurrect our dying club.

There's a company that has a perk, in which employee's can win complementary tickets to every home game, a limited amount.

The person who sorts it all says nobody is even entering to win them anymore... he can't even give them away!

Agreed, and it’s already happened with many people who used to attend.

If that firm is a former shirt sponsor, I know who you mean,

Its a wicked thing to do, turning down a free ticket, but is simply how bad things are.

All things considered, that’s about as good an 11 as this mgr could come up with. Give Toth a try, why not? Tronstad & Travis= the most consistent performers on the team.
I’m not sure what isnails plan is.

Four home games in April (M’bro, Wednesday, Millwall, Watford) & two roadies (Luton, Sund.). I said earlier we will get two points before seasons end, I will say 3 now. Rovers will surprise somebody, & get the fanbase all excited, only to get pummeled the remaining matches. That’s the Rovers way.

One measly win certainly won't get me excited.

There's more chance of me landing on the Moon in May than there is of Rovers qualifying for the Play Offs.
