One of the bleakest nights I've experienced at Ewood. Came onto the ground with absolutely 0 expectations. That team is not playing for Ismael and I don't blame them with the absolute non-tactics he's got them playing.

Massive, massive credit to our fans tonight, for turning out when there were so many reasons not to and for being so vocal. The most vocal I've heard the Riverside for a very, very long time.

But why no protests?

Desperate times but please stop playing that shitty Muse song at the full whistle, we’ve had enough FFS

We’ve been through enough, we don’t need to hear Muse!

He's right, unfortunately.  The quality just isn't there to sustain a challenge over the season

So where are the protests - another damp squib?

Years ago fans would have been going berserk at a manager with Ismael's record since he came in.

Lots of chants, lots of boos, but no direction.

If you were sat in Ewood when Burnley came to town this season there's clearly still a lot of passion (and hatred) in the fan base. It just needs shaping.

Abysmal as usual since Christmas ...we looked good when Lowe had us two games....then back to route one... abysmal...this team is just not good enough...

Objectively, why should we win this one? Squad's wank and chronically underinvested in- especially so when you consider the players sold in recent years..

Venkys out!  Venkys out! Venkys out!

Because essentially the same squad has been right up in the playoff push in two out of the last three seasons, and flirted with it under Mowbray too. There are obvious weaknesses in the team but it can compete as it has shown in the right conditions with the right leadership.

The cardinal sins are not really about money. It has been utterly disillusioning two successful managers so they leave mid season, most recently totally derailing a well performing teams. That isn't fundamentally about budgets or investment - though that is a factor - it's about the chaos and mismanagement derived from our ludicrous ownership arrangement. Irrespective of financials we need clear engagement, communication and planning which the owners just cannot provide.

WE NEED THEM GONE.

I just can’t stand them. What are they getting out of this? We despise them and they don’t like football.

We would've taken 52 points at the start of the season eh? It's the hope that kills you.

Eustace walking away in the middle of a promotion chase and the second manager in a row that leaves after a diabolical January transfer window. Who would want to buy the club? Dwindling fanbase, small town. Reduced to a shadow of our old self in 15 years.
