A win and Waggott, Suhail and Gestede will be booking an open top bus parade πŸ˜‰

Such is my level of detachment, I’m not even going to watch on TV.

Couldn’t care less about the result.

The problem with this is, if everyone did that, a club's leadership could get away with whatever they wanted and the fanbase would never be listened to.

I just don't see how success occurs if the customers just clap every outcome and decision, on and off the field on a match day. The fans have to hold the club accountable and the club have to act with the fans in mind.

It's a difficult situation, I want the Venkys out, but I want Blackburn Rovers to get back to winning ways.

Begs the question.. why Wednesday fans dont vote with their feet?

The same reasons ours don't I guess.

The fanbase, like ours, is divided, some say support the team at all costs, some say we need Chansiri out, its very similar to our situation SG.

I noticed United's 1958 club had an Old Trafford sit-in on Sunday protesting about the Glazers, it was sparce, even though the media tried to say it was thounsands.Β

Your in with Waggott and the Venkys if you stay away, I doubt if they lose any sleep if Blackburn Rovers lose. I want us to remain in the Championship and get back to winning ways. Maybe a big protest at the last home game, might get heard.

In 50+ years of watching Rovers I've never left a game early, or turned off a televised game before the end .....until Friday, when I stopped watching at half time. Felt bad doing it, but the game was so depressing to watch.

Will I watch tonight ?

....probably, at least for a while, but not expecting things to be any better.

I reckon tonight's game will be over by the 18th minute,

No way I can’t see us scoring 3 within the first 18…..

You’re in with Waggott and Venkys if you buy tickets or spend money inside the stadium.

The days of big protests at matches are over, because the attendances aren’t big enough, and a lot of the people who still attend won’t participate anyway.

Shift permitting, I might go on against Watford, for old time’s sake.

Maybe you could watch it until we go behind and as such the game is likely to be over?

Surely you can spare 5 mins?

Last thing we all need is divisive language and blaming each other.

People are free to do as they please in terms of attendance and non-attendance and shouldn't be judged for it.

How you can deduce that I'm judging from my reply I have no idea.

I was responding to someone accusing me of being "in with Waggott and Venkys" by not attending.

I would suggest to you that opening gambit is more worthy of intervention.

I've no problem with people continuing to attend, but it's a fact that continuing to buy tickets and spend money at the club is helping to maintain the status quo.

It was directed at both of you, to be fair.

I know we're your coming from, we're all pissed off with what's going on at Rovers at the moment. But the Venkys and Waggot won't stop me watching Blackburn Rovers.

You simply can't say that , they are taking us down in every way. Carry on such longer ike this and you will have no Rovers to support.

A hate filled atmosphere must rub off on the players now and again. There's only one way to win at football, get behind your team, and play football.

Players turn up and play.Β  There is a difference between a hate filled atmosphere towards owners/managers/board.Β  Very rarely is that aimed at the players.Β  It's not an excuse to hide poor performances behind.Β

Pity the logic doesn't work the other way as the players should have romped home against Burnley/PNEΒ  away etc given the large positive backing they received.Β

Venkys are a terminal illness that's not going away and there's no escaping whats inevitable so might as well buckle up and try to enjoy the football.

An appalling state of affairs but I'm with you, let's win this and worry later.

Well it’s finally here. The one we’ve all been waiting for. The doldrum derby. 2 historic teams decimated foreign ownership vying for mid-table mediocrity. The loser takes it all. If you can’t get excited for nights like this then you must be a little dead inside.Β

ThisΒ is a timeΒ and place for anyone wishing to peacefully β€œexpress yourself” regarding the current situation at our club 🌹

These will continue at every home game from now until the end of the season. The location will be shared here approximately 4 hours before kick off each time and across other forms of social media.
