But "meet with us, talk with us, listen to us, and work with us," doesn't reflect what I want from our owners. If they did the above, which Venkys could suggest they have done on (rare) occasion through the years, I don't believe anything would change. Nothing. It is well beyond that being the required clear message. It comes across as a weak statement, at least in regards to Rovers and Venkys. Edited April 8 by Devon Rover 4 Quote

My comment was to say that I disagree with the request being made in there. Not that I have any right to influence it, as a non-member. Just that I don't personally think it is helpful. Anyway, probably the wrong thread. Quote
Bbrovers2288 Posted April 8 Posted April 8 Lose tonight and I would really start getting a dreaded feeling. Didn’t we go down with 52 or 53 points the last time Quote
WacoRover Posted April 8 Posted April 8 I think we went down on 51… which was a championship record at the time? We’re not going down this time; could well go down next season. Prediction: 2-1. I have to go with Rovers. Probably my last time to predict a win this season. COYB!!! 1 Quote
simongarnerisgod Posted April 8 Posted April 8 both sides with nout to play for and both sides in terrible form, only thing lively about this one will be the protests from both sets of fans😁 Quote

WacoRover Posted April 8 Posted April 8 Our players today will tell us everything we need to know. I just need to see effort, & a “give a care” attitude. Quote

Sometimes its more about the bigger picture than the statement itself. To join forces with a bigger fanbase, a city club, could be the way forward. In isolation its hard to bring about change, but bringing attention to the plight of clubs like ours and Wednesday by joining forces, could be a better way of appraoching this. 1 Quote
