I think it was more the players decided to put a shift in rather than any input from Ismael.

The players need to take some blame. Some of their attitudes since the Swansea game have been shocking. It was almost as if at half time they decided enough is enough.

Pleased for the players second half. Effort was clearly there and deserved the point. Cantwell, Ohashi and Tronstad stepped up. Might save Ismael I suspect and I’m sure Pasha et al will be relieved, but players and dare I say Ismael deserve some credit for that second half performance as I don’t think anyone saw that coming.

Sorry, he seems a decent lad, but if Montgomery is the benchmark of our Academy 'starlets' then that business model can be binned.

You just know that'll be one of the main soundbites from the goons in charge though.

He was one of our better players, had a good game and didn’t shy away from the action. Think he’ll be pleased.

Not for me. Lightweight in the challenge and lost it on a couple of occasions under minimal pressure, played safe when he had possession sideways or backwards and hit the 1st man with poor deliveries on the couple of occasions he was on the overload on the right.

I'm pleased for the lad to make his debut and I will say he never hid unlike the lad he replaced but I'm not sure he'll make it as a regular at this level or bring in any money for the shithouses in charge.

Pleased for the players their graft in the second half deserved the result but they as much as anybody else deserved the half time rocket from the fans after that first half.

Not sure it was anything other than them trying to save themselves from a barracking that made them finally step up.
