Anybody doing this will be a sitting duck labelled as an individual trouble maker. It won't make any difference. The players, the coaches, the owners. They are all a total embarrassment. And there's no way of it improving through anything the fans do. There is an incentive to invade the pitch--you'll be banned for life! 8 Quote

Tomphil2 Posted Tuesday at 21:53 Posted Tuesday at 21:53 No way those home turnstiles clicked more than 7 thousand times tonight, no way. Absolutely looking at 9-10 thousand home gates at times next season right back to 1990 levels unless something drastic changes. Their reaction ? Probably sell someone to cover the expected shortfall. 4 Quote

Parsonblue Posted Tuesday at 22:07 Posted Tuesday at 22:07 Entertaining game between two clubs with nothing to play for as the season draws to a close - not fastest enough really. Once again we gave away two soft goals, although the second one was well taken. Pleased that we showed plenty of spirit in the second-half and thoroughly deserved the draw. I thought Dolan and Yuki were excellent and Cantwell had one of his better games. Both Travis and Tronstad looked better in the second half than they have for a while. Pleased for Montgomery, particularly as he was asked to play at full-back instead of his normal midfield role - solid enough performance from the young lad in difficult circumstances. 1 Quote
Paul Mellelieu Posted Tuesday at 22:13 Posted Tuesday at 22:13 I was rather pleased that we the players took some responsibility and got the draw. 1 Quote

Guy shoved Travis heavily right in front of him, outcome is Sheff free kick and a booking for Travis? Yes Travis mildly put his hand on him first but the ref didn't blow until Trav was shoved. God the refs in this league are nearly as bad as we are. The refs in this league are shite. 6 Quote

Proving they can put a shift in when they want. If they played like the 2nd half for 90 minutes, we'd still be in the play offs, we were unlucky not to snatch all three points, an inch wide of the post. 1 Quote

RevidgeBlue Posted Tuesday at 22:24 Posted Tuesday at 22:24 Have to confess.....I wouldn't have minded if we'd come back to win but if VI gets any credit in the Bank from the ownership for that point then I'd rather we'd lost 2-0. Lest we forget in the last 6 games we-ve conceded goals in the 3rd and 7th minute 19th minute 4th minute 20th minute 2nd and 8th minute 16th minute and.......... in seven games we haven't been ahead for a single minute of his stewardship! He's obviously only got the job, not because he-s any good these days but because he's cheap and has agreed to try and work with any old rubbish they sling in his direction. Needs to be gone yesterday along with the owners and the 3 stooges. Otherwise there'll be tears. 7 Quote

roversfan99 Posted Tuesday at 22:26 Posted Tuesday at 22:26 The man of the match tonight should have gone to whoever brought in the Pasha our flag. Never felt so apathetic seeing us score an equaliser. The stadium was so empty, felt like an early round cup game. We were dreadful in the first half and again Ismael's tactics left us not pressing at all, letting them have the ball. He is a fraud and everyone seems to agree hence asking for him to be sent off. It felt like the players after getting the early set piece goal (great header) really built up some momentum and showed some character (bit late) and were playing on emotion rather than to a plan. Cantwell was much more involved and Ohashi gives us far more than Gueye even if he is very limited himself. The Montgomery sub felt a bit cynical to prove that Ismael will use the youngsters. He personally should feel very proud to make his debut and certainly didnt let anyone down. But equally, and understandably, he did look very pensive and had Sheffield Wednesday not sat in 2 nil up and never really got forward to take advantage, I dont think I would have been confident in them not exploiting him. But he is a young lad who was playing at Chorley the other week. 1 Quote

First time in a long time rovers entertained me. Let's hope so, it's about time Rovers supporters have something to smile about. Quote

chaddyrovers Posted Tuesday at 22:35 Posted Tuesday at 22:35 Well well. A good point after that second half performance. That first half performance apart from Dolan and Ohashi shots were dire, lacking passion and not good enough on any scale. Pears should be tipping that header over the bar instead of palming into another Wednesday player path, Second half, must better, tempo up several gears and Dolan's goal get the fans going. He shown passion all game and I enjoyed the second goal getting the ball wide and Ohashi in there at the right time, right place. So why didn't we start like that and we have started playing at 2 nil down. If that's the style we want to play then the tempo needs to be that high. Best half we played under Ismael Ohashi and Dolan our best players Thought Montgomery had a solid debut. Dd the basics right. steady. Is that his natural position or not? Rovers need to win on Saturday 1 Quote

TheFinalCountdown Posted Tuesday at 22:39 Posted Tuesday at 22:39 The fact that I came away delighted with a point and proud of the 2nd half display shows how utterly dire and hopeless we've been recently. It's not a cause for celebration, its cause for contemplation. Fighting spirit and attacking intent is the bare minimum we should get. 1 Quote

Christ that's abysmal...apart from his first game, that's a goal conceded inside the first 20 minutes every single game, and 5 goals conceded in the first 10 minutes in just 6 games. I can't think of a worse record for starting games for any Rovers manager, at any point in their tenure. Let alone in the fucking honeymoon period! 3 Quote
