Pears must have shagged yours, they're both terrible.

Along with Wahlsted and Walton, I don't know how we find them.

Maybe they're both shagging both your wives at the same time...............while the women are wearing Burnley kits........

OK....now THAT'S going too far.

Both teams were poor but Luton had 18 shots to our 4. Granted we played most of the second half with 10 men, but even when 11 v 11 it was basically the same.

Need Coventry to implode.

Even if we win our last 4, they only need seven points from their last five games and we can't catch them.

Not happening.

Surely he was being sarcy? 😂

Ta-ra Luton.

If you are losing to the likes of us at home, it’s League One for you next season.

Has Jim done a lap of honour ? 😉

Not felt as flat after a win for as long as I can remember. Feels totally worthless but still at least we won and showed good character to hang on.

Going forward we played as if we had no game plan and barely mustered a shot on goal, one of the very few was put away expertly by Ohashi. Defensively much better, Hyam and Batth both outstanding and dealt with everything and Tronstad was much better too.

Toth is an absolute bomb scare, constantly flapping and missing. Gueye coming on didnt help us at all, his body language was very poor losing the ball a few times and stropping.

Harsh red card but Montgomery looks like a young midfielder playing at right back unfortunately.

Luton are absysmal, how many times did they randomly slash the ball out of play? Bell hasnt improved either, very poor. They seem destined for League 1.

Think he said before the game he predicted we'd win the last 4 and miss out on the play offs by a point.

I must confess I had a little look at the table after the game. Drowning man clutching at strawa and all that.

I wouldn't go that far. I'd say they are both quite poor.

Toth didn't get to any crosses he went for and Luton nearly scored from one he flapped at.

Oh you mean the star jump one shall I kick it or punch it? I'll do neither

Not a scooby’s.

The flat track bullies ride again.

It’s Groundhog Day.

Yes, Luton were awful and weren't in it till Monty got sent off.

We were better, but not much better. Got a bit of luck when they hit the bar twice. They got a bit of luck with a nob ref.

How did we hang on for the 3pts,  we were under immense pressure after Montgomery got sent off. Bad decision keeping him on after the first yellow, but it was a harsh red that needs appealing against. Great to see Yuki Ohashi on the score sheet again. We really need to get that killer instinct, and wrap up the 3pts. Ismaels first win, let's hope it's the turning point for Blackburn Rovers.

fair play to the lads in a hard fought win, though i was surprised at how bad luton are,not convinced by toth, who, like wahlstedt looks to be struggling with the intensity of english football

Feel for Kaminski, but he seems to have struggled this season. That being said, I wonder if he's got a relegation release clause if they drop down to League One 😅.

I think, you can't appeal yellow cards.

Agreed, does feel rather flat and pointless - what could've been if the ownership had led from the front. It's been clear for a few years, though, that the club has a knack for recruiting grafting lads who'll put a shift in and pull together. I don't think there's been much to complain about with the application and attitude of the players since the start of the Mowbray era. That's seen us through on multiple occasions.

Shocking really for Luton to be where they are - surely their aim for the next 3/4 years should've been to establish themselves in the top half, get the new stadium built and try and bounce back. Idk where it's all gone wrong - keeping Rob Edwards too long?

Who knows. I think we can bumble along for the rest of the season now and hopefully see out a top half finish. Regardless, it's going to be a summer of change and as usual there's no ability to build and improve. As with this season, it's just "keep away from the trap door and anything else is a bonus". We *did* have the killer instinct with Szmodics, but, alas, our "Groundhog Day Model" meant he had to go.

Jesus, has the lad shagged your wife or something?

Flapped at a couple, but had safe hands otherwise - came for a few crosses that Pears wouldn't have had a clue how to handle.

Save at the death was good also.

A thousand times better than Calamity.

There is confirmation bias here in that you understandably are so desperate to not have Pears in net, as we all are, that you seemingly will give far more grace to anyone else who comes in.

Toth barely had anything of note to do because Luton in attack were so poor but he was flying out for routine crosses and getting nowhere near them. When he has played he has looked nowhere near good enough. He isnt the answer.

We need to get rid of both but will likely get rid of neither.
