Ismael, IN, loved his awkward clap and wave.. Perhaps that's just his persona..   Well done, lads.  Shame it's too little, too late. But a lot to be positive about with that performance.

Like the win at Millwall on the last day a few years ago.

You mean when Brereton-Diaz turned up after 6 months on the beach?

Fun times.

Good performance and result.
Thought we were aggressive and created lots of chances.

Dolan was good, Tronstad and Brittain obviously very good.
Toth so much better than Calamity - just his positioning and distribution alone are superior to the former.

Shame we couldn't do this one or twice in the last 10-12 games, or we'd still very much be in the race for the play off positions.

Good performance, terrible owners and board room.

Didn't strengthen in January again and we paid for it again. Three years running.

Depressing seeing average clubs like Coventry and Bristol in the play offs.  Shows what a shit league this is and what good owners can do

I think Coventry reinvested the money from Gyokores and other sales quite well, so I understand why they are up there....but you are correct on Bristol City. They are no better than Rovers really but have hit form at just the right time.

Obviously a great result, but difficult to feel anything positive considering how we've thrown away our playoff chances and yet again only start playing once it's too late. Results like this also give ammunition to upper management who will weaponise our usual pointless late season surge to encourage fans to give the club the summer and we go again next season.

Venky's out.

The "protests" have already stopped...We've got these lot for a long time yet.

Pretty sick of this putting a bit of a spurt in when it's too late, after imploding when it matters.

It's happened under 4 successive managers now, Mowbray, JDT, Eustace (to a lesser  extent) and now Ismael.

Can't be coincidental. If we can ever actually do something when it matters I'll be more impressed.

Great save Toth, sub appearances have shown that Forshaw and Woodrow can’t be kept on they offer nothing. Gueye been poor again as well sadly he needs to turn it around again but isn’t looking like doing so

Ismael clearly doesn't rate him and I wouldn't be surprised if he's not here next season. Yuki contributes much more.

Glen and the coalition supporters groups know they'll be playing the long game. Casuals are swayed purely by on pitch results so can't be relied upon for support unless we're bottom of the league and hopeless from very early next season. I still trust them to keep pushing as best they can, but I'm sure their planning will not be focused on harnessing a groundswell of support from casual fans. They know that barring a truly terrible season this won't happen.

Winning 4-1 should be something worth celebrating, but disappointed how we threw away our playoff spot some 8-9 games ago. A little too late. Some promising play today for sure. Will miss Dolan's energy next season. Venkys will probably sell Brittain too.

Ismael was more interested in waving to the stooges in the pound seats

There have been enough issues in just this season for a Hollywood serial, but the biggest one to affect our final place in the table will be that we just couldn't or wouldn't get that motherf****r Pears off the pitch.

I don't rate Ismael - I know which of the two I'd rather have.

Imagine if we'd have sold Brereton-Diaz and Rothwell and reinvested that money.

Oh well.

Was in 2 minds whether to go or not today but glad I did.

Yes it's to little to late but was really pleased with the performance, probably our best of the season along with Cardiff away.

If the last 2 1/2 games are anything to go by maybe Ismael is finally getting his ideas across.

Secondly, get Brittain and Tronstad signed up on new contracts

Well, we all know it would have disappeared into the same black hole as the Adam Wharton money. So, I'm glad Venky's didn't get a penny from either of them. All it did was further emphasise the club's incompetence.

I think you are right on the first point, could see him going back to the continent for a similar fee we brought him in on as much as I think he has the potential to make it in this league
