Was in 2 minds whether to go or not today but glad I did.

Yes it's to little to late but was really pleased with the performance, probably our best of the season along with Cardiff away.

If the last 2 1/2 games are anything to go by maybe Ismael is finally getting his ideas across.

Secondly, get Brittain and Tronstad signed up on new contracts

We're getting the walking wounded back, and there playing some decent football under Ismael. I wonder if his critics will give him some credit we're it's due.

You haven't mentionned all the players likely to be leaving because of the dire contracts situation. Dolan (for sure), Travis, Hyam and Tronstadt all into their final year and the 3 Stooges itching to cash in to keep the lights on. What's left are the players nobody wants.

It's all Rovers and now Woodrow and Forshaw are coming on.

Why?

Travis carrying a knock and various other players returning after long absences. Another match in 3 days. Seems sensible to me.

Ismael was more interested in waving to the stooges in the pound seats

Noticeable that Dismael pretty much ignores his players when doing the "victory lap" at the end. His priority is to wave to the 3 Stooges.

Won't happen.

Best performance I've seen, since Ismael arrived. You who stayed away, you missed it.

I’d say best performance at home all season, some terrific football and goals.

Excellent performance in isolation, lots of strong performers, but totally meaningless in the grand scheme of things and frustrating that it only has come when the season is over. If we had a fraction of this over the last 3 months we would be in the play offs. Some excellent goals scored.

Tronstad and Brittain are the 2 players we have that would get into most other teams in the league. Both were outstanding today and its a joke that neither have seemingly even been offered new deals, same with Travis. The centre backs for the most part were ver

Of the attackers, Dolan was really bright and a constant threat, another contract frustration there. Ohashi missed chances he should have scored but is still much more effective than Gueye and gives defenders a rough time. Cantwell was again frustrating but I do feel a lack of pace in behind really hinders him. Hedges doesnt do anything.

The subs bench told a story about the lack of investment, bar Pickering none of the subs that came on should be here next season.

I think Coventry reinvested the money from Gyokores and other sales quite well, so I understand why they are up there....but you are correct on Bristol City. They are no better than Rovers really but have hit form at just the right time.

Imagine that....what is this reinvesting you speak of !?

Missed the whole game as I was out with the family and had no phone reception to keep tabs on the game.

A real (but welcome) surprise to see a 4-1 win, no strikers on the score scoresheet and Sonny on it twice!

As others have said, a real frustration that this comes when all the pressure is off and the playoffs have gone. Frustrating to say the least.

New contracts for Hyam, Brittain, Tronstad and Travis are a must and if the clowns in charge don't get them sorted, we should be rioting.

That was probably the best performance of our season and we totally blew them away second half with one touch pass and movement. Fantastic all round.

Not sure where it came from but be very happy to see it repeated!

Well he's already made two saves that Pears wouldn't today - so I'm not sure what you're basing this on.

Toths a better keeper than Pears, he found our players on the wing, on a regular basis from his penalty box.

Again, the irony of this type of performance and result when it’s too late.

Credit where it’s due, but it only serves to emphasise the rut and cycle of futility the club is in.

Don't agree. This is a bang average side on the whole, for whom every now and then everything clicks and we look world beaters. Normal service will soon be restored!

He lacks a little bit of acceleration - if you can get his feet stopped you can run past him as a quick winger.

I think Brittain can be forgiven for his mistake, just back from injury, and one of our best players today.

I am still not convinced by him but thats just not true and lies dont help our cause.  He went round and hugged or high fived all the players before coming to the supporters.

Makes up for the ref refusing to book their players. Let's call it even.

There's was no discipline in the game, the ref should have shown a yellow card or two, far to many niggly fouls unpunished.

Classic Rovers turning in one of the seasons best performances when the beach is calling.

Good afternoons entertainment helped by the fact Millwall came to have a go.

The number of empty ST seats today in what was a respectable crowd total figure wise should act as a huge red flag to those upstairs. It won't though they'll just now be wondering how many offer they can muster up for Brittain and Tronstad.

What's happening??? Been much better since Sheff W

We're improving under Ismael every game since the Sheff Wed comeback. More please Rovers. Maybe it's time to give Ismael credit were it's due.

Watched it back and he was hugging and high 5'ing the players before a rather sheepish clap to the fans but to be fair there was plenty interaction with the players.

He still to me looks really uncomfortable here though.

….Which surely means you DO agree.

It’s pretty much exactly the point I’m making.

For me it’s the hollowest of hollow drubbings and means nothing in the bigger picture.

However, no doubt it will be enough to fool the goldfish memory brigade.
