Last two matches:

Bristol City: Leeds (A), Preston (H)

Coventry: Luton (A), Middlesbrough (H)

Middlesbrough: Norwich (H), Coventry (A)

Millwall: Swansea (H), Burnley (A)

Rovers: Watford (H), Sheffield Utd (A)

Frustrating that we always seem to pick up form at the very end of season when it's all but too late. We need six points, Millwall need to drop points in one of their remaining games and Coventry have to lose against Luton and draw against Boro on the final day.

That horrendous five-game losing streak against the likes of Cardiff, Stoke, Derby and Portsmouth is really looking nasty right now, almost unforgivable given that a more pragmatic approach in those games would more than likely have secured valuable points.

Same for Sheffield United and West Brom. Never good to rely on relegation  threatened teams. They tend to wake up at this time of rhe season.

I feel like he's fallen out with Gueye though - Gueye isn't even trying to win headers today.

Gueye did no pressing whatsoever in the last few minutes when Sunderland had possession around the halfway line. Barely moved a muscle. Ismael's evident liking for Woodrow probably means he gets a contract😬

Probably wrong place but...

...Monday Night club on Radio 5 usually dull as ditchwater but quite interesting at the moment. Talking about Leicester. Chat about younger players who are knowledgeable about tactics/systems etc not wanting to obey Steve Cooper who wanted a little more ‘steel.’ Has moved on to prima donnas or player expectation and control –eg. you have to look after my dog if I come to the club etc.

Which is worrying because he's utter dogshit.

Conspiracy time, if it's true that there is some dark agenda that involves sabotaging our promotion efforts year in year out, will that mean the powers at be could be worried now and try to alter our form for the remaining games?

Not particularly a beleiver in it all but the thought just crossed my mind.

We need an incredible run of results to make the Playoffs now. It's not going to happen.

Absolutely no way we are getting 6th but 7th is quite realistic. Unfortunately we have to be in League 2 or the Naltional League for that to be meaningful.

Sunderland were on holiday today including a strange starting selection by their coach.

We have to beat what is in front of us and we did. Only Woodrow was below the standard of the other players but his control in the goal build up was top class. Nice to see some quality crossing in the first half but of course Gueye wasn't on the pitch to benefit.

Not wanting to jinx him, but I increasingly think we have a keeper in Toth - his distribution in the last two games has been excellent. Good to see Ribeiro keep his place and Brittain continuing his great form. Big plus to see Tyjon at the end.
