So does this mean BRFCS has officially thrown its considerable weight behind the coalition ?

@Herbie6590

The purpose of the poll was to gather a mandate to enable the coalition to say whether or not they had the support of BRFCS members. The intention is similar to a trade union balloting its members I guess.

The poll closes at midnight - it seems that the sentiment of members who have voted so far is clear.

It’s worth emphasising that individual BRFCS members have already been contributing in different ways.

I'm genuinely curious as to why folk wouldn't back the coalition.

If not, what do you think we should be doing?

Surely nobody who actually supports the club can think the current situation is in any way acceptable?

It seems 8 people on here out of 334 who voted, don’t back it, so a minute, number, but some, none the less.

Not everyone is up for a confrontation, I guess, but no one can back this regime for certain, who cares about the club.

234 votes  for clarity. Presume it’s a typo as opposed to poor arithmetic 😉

The Forum has spoken. @glen9mullan can now say the Coalition is backed by BRFCS.

As stated elsewhere on this thread, we will keep a watching brief. If folks become unhappy with the way things unfold & want a re-vote then it’s something we will consider, but for clarity, we  aren’t going to be holding weekly referenda on this topic.

If you want to actively support the Coalition - please liaise with Glen.

If you disagree with what the Coalition does - please make your case on a thread on here.

Thanks to EVERYONE who voted.

Thank you everyone,

I can't put into words how it feels to see so many people working together in unity.

It's been tiresome this last 15 years. It's very hard for all to muster the energy given the journey we've been through.

From watching @Eddie pod last night to to seeing Rorys pieces, to being in the think tank with so many different ideas from people of all ages and backgrounds it's got the fire in people's bellies to push for positive change, whilst still having time to enjoy 3 points on a match day.

I have and continue to love being part of the BRFCS community, without it, I don't think on a personal level I'd ever have been brave enough to stand up all those years ago.

People ask how can they get involved?

My pms are always open , but believe me even without a pm the words you all write daily are as valuable as anything, especially to those who are getting involved for the first time.

Thank you BRFCS

Thanks for all your efforts Glen.

If we can keep up the pressure we'll get rid of this lot. Then we can have a club that we can all once we be proud of.

Glen, feel free to send me a DM if you want to chat about anything and I can see however I (we) can help.

You've also alluded to having some contact with former players, if there's a chance to reach out to them and have part of the discussion we have be about the current situation then that would also be great.

Now just waiting for WATR’s to find some backbone and get behind this, a fully united coalition will make life wholly uncomfortable for the three stooges ! Fuck Jim White and his bullshit bluster but now for sure, ‘Venkys, We Are Coming For You’ !
