Massive win!!! Plus to have Kargbo and Dennis back if and a big if we reach playoffs...

Dennis is dogpooh, does nothing, but gets booked and gives away silly fouls. A liability that should be sent packing back to Forest.

Agreed. Been a huge let down and seems to be more of a problem than a help to the team.

All is forgiven if he bags the winner next weekend though and it propels us into the top 6 😂.

I recall being told if we had a chance of the playoffs going into the last day, then Ismael has been a success.

It feels both a success and not, so far. But he has earned til January before he is driven out by lies to a relegation threatened Birmingham City…

If we don't make it he's failed quite badly in my book. He had one job to do and by his own admission that was to maintain our status in the play off positions.

If we do make it then  I'd say he'd done the job you'd have hoped he would have done.

If we did make it and somehow went up then I'd say he'd widely surpassed expectations.

Whatever happens it's looking a bit more promising for next season than it did four or five games ago.

Well just a few weeks ago it looked like Preston might finish above us

There's a small chance we could be promoted and they get relegated now. What a division.

Agreed. All I’d say to that is next season depends entirely on how we deal with half a team fucking off.

One of two things will happen on the final day.

A win will turn out to be enough but we will lose or draw.

A win will turn out not to be enough and we’ll get the three points.

Probably.

That happened two years ago at Millwall. When it was too late it was almost like a case in the second half of

"It's OK, we can win the game now!"

Very good comeback win. The last few games have shown a resilience that was badly lacking in the february-march period. Going into the final game of the season with a chance is nice. Leaving aside the feeling of "what if", I just hope the team selection next weekend speaks of attacking intent from the outset, rather than any sitting in for an hour before hoping to still be level for a last push.

Anyone think there’s any chance they’ll add more allocation for sheff utd? Went to book a ticket and it’s just sold out

They should put a big screen up at Ewood.

Also, might be a shiniest dog egg competition but Toth is the better keeper.

I'm just not as scared of him chucking one into the back of the net or whatever in the way I am even when pears is playing 'well'

Dennis and Kargbo get on so well.. Whilst he's not played much I'd be made up to sign Dennis- there's a real player there...

Fantastic stuff! I drank a bottle of prosseco second half as my wife hadn't returned with alcohol and that's all we had in (Felt like I had to explain myself)...

When Foreshaw and Sanderson came on I have to admit I let out a sigh..  I'm not the sort of person to be static in my view. Well done lads. Worked hard, threw yourselves about, won me over..  Eat my words.  Proud of you and the team.

Dolan, exceptional,  Trondtadt, Brittain,  Ribiero, Toth- well done lad, great performance...

It's just lovely to be in that last game with something to play for!

They should really. If enough people say they would go. I when on and there were seats and then when I clicked on them they said sold out. Gutted

Anyone who was there shed any light on this?

Tom Cleverley says Watford will be putting in an official complaint against Lewis Travis for a comment made on the pitch. Wouldn't go into what was said but confirmed it wasn't anything racial.

In honour of 150 years:

£15 per ticket, pie and peas in the hospitality lounges.

£1.50 big screen on the pitch, fill the JW Stand

5 defeats, then 4 wins on the bounce! This has to be the craziest division in world football.

Can we beat Sheff United away? They looked good at Ewood and deserved the win.

Good chance they’ll be resting players for the playoffs (he says hopefully)

He's miles better.

Its not a coincidence that the form immediately turned around once we'd dropped Calamity.

How shit is this league that we're in with a decent shout of play offs

Basically all teams between 5th and 17th are much of a muchness, really. I don't think there's any significant difference in quality between any of them, just a case of momentum and injuries determining where the points have fallen this season.

Very, very rare for a team to be able to finish 6th on less than 70 points (as far as I can tell it's only happened once in the last 10 years, when Sunderland scraped in with 69 points a couple of seasons back). The average for a team finishing 5th is to be in the mid-to-high 70s. Funnily enough, the only case where it's been less than that average was the same season Sunderland got 6th with 69 points - Coventry finished 5th with 70 points.

So yeah, based on averages the teams getting 5th and 6th this year are the best of a weak bunch, much like in the 22/23 season.
