This is it! Need other results to go our way but a must win in order to keep our end of the bargain. 

Coventry go into their next game without experienced LB Dasilva, deflated under their loss yesterday to Luton, we could see them give it everything against Boro as match ups go we could see these two teams cancel each other out taking away a point, but we need to beat the blades. 

A Coventry loss, a Rovers win, a Burnley win at home to Millwall.

Let's av it!

A draw is fine in the Boro game, so long as we win and our local neighbours don’t let us down.

It’s simple for us- it’s a must win game. As I said in another thread- start like we did in the first half yesterday and we’ll lose comfortably. Start like we did once we went behind and we’ll give ourselves a chance of winning. I’d play Kargbo from the start but I suspect Ismael won’t.

Going with a 2-1 Rovers Win based on form and fire in the belly. We can do this there's no reason why we can't head there and frustrate the hell out of these

You also thought PNE would do better than us after Heckingbottom appointment

We're perfectly capable of winning this one, I actually think we will.

Was surprised by Watford yesterday as they threw the kitchen sink at us like their lives depended on getting a result yet they had absolutely nothing to play for. I fear the same from Sheffield United who in theory should be putting the reserves out as they've nowt to gain from this match but risk injuries.  So we know how that's going go don't we?!!

Still, academic IMO as we are reliant on other results and not every other team is a West Ham.

If we were to build on this relative success next season we might get somewhere but we never do. The ingredients just aren't there.

Pretty certain that next season's side will be worse than this one. So buying a ST on the strength of this season has no logic at all.

However, this late bloom has made the Coalition's job harder.

It'd be utterly bonkers and entirely on brand for the Championship for Rovers to lose 5 in a row and then follow that up with 5 wins in a row. I suppose its possible, but I feel that Sheff United will be a touch too strong on their own turf.

All I want is for Rovers to play without fear and put in the effort. After that, whatever will be will be.

I'm proud of the players to have turned the rotten form around and end the season positively regardless of what happens next weekend. I think its one game too late but I'm proud of them nonetheless.

Funnily enough if Rovers do scrape 6th place then they'll be playing Sheffield United again the following Thursday. It would end up being 3 consecutive games against the same club.

Expecting the same starting XI as the Watford game, no injuries pending of course.

I'm going for a topsy turvy 2-2 draw with Brereton Diaz breaking Rovers hearts with a late equaliser when results elsewhere are going our way.

Hopefully leeds beat bristol city tomorrow night and then there's 2 play off places maybe up for grabs if rovers can do their bit

i can see sheff utd resting a few,hopefully the very good campbell,hamer and rak saki,we are going up a few levels from the very average watford so we`ll have to be on it for 90 minutes,a first half like yesterday then the game could be over pretty soon

pasha and the other ****** wil be panic stricken if we get in the play offs,they`ve done all they can to impede our progress in the last few seasons,it`s obvious venkys don`t want us playing top flight football,they`ll probably instruct the three stooges to do whatever to make sure we don`t get promoted

Sheffield utd have a choice to field a weaker team in hope we win, so they've an easier team in playoffs.. or they may decide they want to go all out to avoid us (doubtful).

If I was them I'd be going with a weaker team / resting players.

All to play for but doubt Burnley will help us out. Theoretically we've a good chance, particularly if Bristol city lose (I hope so as I'm a Bristol rovers fan!)

There needs to be a 4 goal swing potentially, so we need Leeds to win handsomely

Bristol City only two points in front so if they lose then we as we are, there will be two places still technically available

I don't know about a weaker team, if we do win, we'll be top of the form table.

The comment from the Sky commentator, when we were beating Sunderland away, still making me chuckle.

Apparently it was helping us to pull away from danger at the wrong end of the table.
