barry_ Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago great to see such support but it's the hope that kills for what will be a probable loss... 2 Quote
Mattyblue Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago (edited) Presumably they’ll now be asking for an extra 400 or so considering the bottom tier allocation is normally c2,900? Edited 20 hours ago by Mattyblue Quote

As I said in another thread- start like we did in the first half yesterday and we’ll lose comfortably. Start like we did once we went behind and we’ll give ourselves a chance of winning. I’d play Kargbo from the start but I suspect Ismael won’t. If he does not start I would like to see him on sooner. What to do about Hedges, he just seems to stop a lot of our attacks, loses possession yet has moments where he does well. Frustrating player. Edited 20 hours ago by USABlue Quote
TruRover Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago Unfortunately it seems Sheffield United will be at full strength next week. They seemed to rest players against Stoke on Friday and I imagine they’ll come back in for sharpness ahead of the playoffs. They’ll want momentum going into the play-offs. Really tough games for us (and for Millwall) - I can see results going our way but can’t see quite seeing us getting the 3 points away from home. I’m forever hopeful but feel like it might be a step too far. Will be an entertaining day either way! 1 Quote
because of boxing day Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago It was like Oasis tickets without the dynamic pricing!! 2 Quote

They may start at full strength and I suspect they will go for the kill early son6they can rest key players by just giving then an hour or so. We best be ready for a barrage early on. 2500? That's a good effort from our fans. Sing your hearts out. 12th man and all that. Whose the ref? Edited 20 hours ago by USABlue Quote
WacoRover Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago First things, first: We need a Leeds win today. Two playoff spots are decided. Even if Bristol gets a point @Leeds, it makes that 3rd playoff place nearly wrapped up. 2 Quote

StHelensRover Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago (edited) Should be a good atmosphere this one in the away end, cue BBD shutting us up after 8 minutes and cupping his ears to us 😄 I was quite looking forward to relaxing on the sofa and watching the relegation scrap on Sky on Monday but decided to go to this at last minute. I'm a Jonah for us in Sheffield. Been to Wednesday at United 5 times altogether and haven't seen us win once 👌 Edited 19 hours ago by StHelensRover Quote
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago (edited) The support our Club can muster when there is a chance of good times...its just those running Rovers dont realise it. The backing is there but dormant. A long awaited return to the top flight would see Ewood full to capacity for most Games. Edited 19 hours ago by SIMON GARNERS 194 3 Quote
Mattyblue Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago Not sure about that, largely because half the league is now Bournemouth, Brentford, Fulham, Brighton, Palace etc who wouldn’t be fetching too many up to Ewood (especially when you’ll have very few 3pm games). We would only get close to sell outs outside the big boy games if they went back to the ‘Taking Back Ewood’ campaigns, i.e cheap STs in order to have Rovers fans in all stands outside the Darwen End Upper (and that won’t happen under this regime as they would totally misjudge the fanbase like usual and try and charge top whack). A Brentford at 5.30pm would see 20k at best without a Taking Back Ewood. Quote

The FA Cup game away to Sheff Utd confirmed the fanbase is healthy, me and Matty were both stunned at the uptake, we could have sold 10,000 had the ground held that many away fans. We must never lose faith in the ability of our fans to come together, these idiots won't be here forever and we will need the fans to pick up the pieces, once they scurry off back under the rock from where they came. 7 Quote
Mattyblue Posted 17 hours ago Posted 17 hours ago You’ve never forgot that, Gav. 😄 To be fair my surprise was more the fact it sold out quickly for a 12pm game on a Sunday, not that we could sell out an away end in far flung, err, Yorkshire for an FA Cup quarter final! I shouldn’t have been really as fans these days are so used to stupid kick off times it makes no difference for a big game. 1 Quote
