We best be ready for a barrage early on. 2500? That's a good effort from our fans. Sing your hearts out. 12th man and all that. Whose the ref? The ref is Farai Hallam. Last refed our games Stoke away and Portsmouth at home. Quote

Blue Greyhound Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago (edited) We can now beat Bristol even if they draw, this is a massive chance now, 2 clear cut places up for grabs! All we have to do, is win ;) Edited 12 hours ago by Blue Greyhound 3 Quote

Seem to remember us getting a bit of luck against Pompey at home just before the 2nd goal. Nothing outrageous happened at Stoke too (apart from our disgusting performance). Quote
... Posted 11 hours ago Author Posted 11 hours ago Oh come on please give us something good the amount of shit we've all been through this year (and the rest of the reign...) Oh Lancashire is wonderful!!!! Shit or bust lads let's have em!!!! 2 Quote
JCRovers Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago I would rate us a 50/50 chance of claiming top 6 now if we win on final day: Bristol City - to draw or lose vs Preston Coventry - to draw or lose vs Boro Millwall - to draw or lose vs B*rnley Two of the three outcomes above need to happen. Likeliest ones are probably Millwall and Coventry dropping points. Hopefully the team realise that a draw isn't enough and that they attack from the very start of the game. Can't be passive and start playing after conceding a goal like they did against Watford. Sheffield Utd have nothing to play for on paper and are likely going to rotate their squad to improve match fitness for some players and rest key ones to avoid any injury risk. 3 Quote

Someone else suggested they may use us as a momentum game and play their starting eleven. I can't see this though risky injury against a team fighting for a spot 2 Quote

I doubt that they’ll do that 2 weeks in a row otherwise players will lose sharpness. Really hope I’m wrong! 1 Quote

The issue is, even if we attack from the start its not really our strength. If we are to win it perhaps is more likely to be from a tight game that we grind out built on a clean sheet. 1 Quote
Fraserkirky Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Well here we are, as close as we have ever been to getting back to where we belong. Not sure how we have managed, so many ups and downs. Got a solid punchers chance, and to be honest the squad looks confident and doing well right now. Give our best go and see what happens. We face two players who I believe can be the difference, Cantwell and Kargbo on Sunday. Cantwell starting to look like the premier league player he was touted to be, and Kargbo has the speed that is utterly void in the team. Could have been a better away fixture, they beat the shit out of us at Ewood in the first game. But they have nothing to play for. My bet: Millwall losing at Burnley coventry drawing with Boro Bristol beating Preston - (although they were embarrassing tonight at Leeds) We win 2-1, and have too play them again in a week. 1 Quote

I'd love a play off Vs Bristol. Time to put it right after last year's embarrassing game Quote
arbitro Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago I really hope the phone signal at Bramhall Lane is better than it was at Leicester and Millwall on the last day of the previous two seasons. With all the likely permutations it will be purgatory again having to rely on somebody several rows away keeping us updated. Quote
