A single goal by Damian Duff in the 17min was enough to give the Irish Republic a 1-0 win over Norway tonight.

After a star performance by the Blackburn midfielder, he was awarded the Man of the Match Award. Playing in a different role behind the front two, Damian showed that he is not just a wing man, but also a versatile midfielder / striker and why he is the subject of transfer speculation in the media on a daily basis.
