Whilst many supporters will watch their teams go through the motions of an end of season game, Blackburn supporters travel to London this weekend knowing that victory could guarantee the club a place in the UEFA Cup again next season.

Reports would indicate that Blackburn have sold out their allocation of tickets for the game and supporters travelling to the game are reminded that kick-off time is 3pm, not 4pm as printed on the tickets.

After failing to gain all three points against West Brom last Saturday, Graeme Souness prepares his players for the final game of the season on Sunday against Spurs at White Hart Lane. Rovers now know that they must rely on Everton failing to collect maximum points against Manchester United, whilst Rovers themselves need to beat Spurs.

Souness again has team selection problems with the defence as Short and Gresko are still injured; together with the news released today that Henning Berg will not be offered an extension to his contract. The striker selection should also provide interesting reading, following the news that Dwight Yorke was reportedly dropped last weekend due to arriving late for the West Brom game and the news that Hakan Sukur is not to be offered a contract.

With the recent lack of fire from the strikers, Souness may gamble on including Paul Gallagher who has been a revelation in the Youth team and reserves this season, although this may be one game to soon for the youngster, who scored a hat-trick for the U19's in the first leg of the U19 Championship Final against Aston Villa at Ewood Park tonight. The other option at Souness’s disposal is to once again team up the strike force that scored the winning goals against Spurs in the Worthington Cup Final at Cardiff last year.
