Amoruso bid confirmed

Rovers chief executive John Williams has confirmed that the club have made a bid for Glasgow Rangers Italian centre-half Lorenzo Amoruso. Speaking on Radio Lancashire Williams said that the club had made a bid and were hopeful it would be accepted, but that they were awaiting permission to talk to the player.

The bid comes less than a week after former Fiorentina player Amoruso declared that Rangers were his life and he wanted to remain in Glasgow for the rest of his career, following an emotional final day league championship victory.
