It would appear that Blackburns young left back Jay McEveley is now a fully qualified member of the first team squad.

After a season when first team regulars, Duff, Dunn, Berg, and Short, just to name a few, missed games due to hamstring problems, the young defender has now had to withdraw from the England U21 squad.

You guessed it, hamstring injury.
