Less than 24 hours after the fixture were announced, the derby games against Manchester City and Liverpool have been rearranged.

Blackburn today confirmed that the Manchester City game due to be played on August 27 has been postponed due to City's involvement in the qualifying round of the UEFA Cup. A new date for the fixture has yet to be announced.

Meanwhile Blackburns away game at Anfield has been put back 24 hours due to the Grand National being run on the Saturday. The game will now be played on Sunday the 4th April, kick off 3pm.

Supporters should prepare themselves for further changes to the fixtures schedule, to accomodate UEFA Cup games and satelite tv schedules.
