International Signing Imminent

If press and media reports are to be believed, Blackburn Rovers will sign two new players this week.

Whilst the drawn out transfer saga of defender Lorenzo Amoruso should be finalised this week when he signs for Blackburn from Rangers, the biggest breaking news as far as Rovers Supporters are concerned is the reported imminent signing of Australian midfielder Brett Emerton from Feyenoord for a reported sum of £3million.

It is understood that there are three Premiership clubs interested in the the player and Emerton will travel to Blackburn this week to discuss terms with Rovers manager Graeme Souness.

Reports also suggest that Rovers have reopened discussions with Vratislav Gresko.
