After returning from the USA on the weekend Blackburn Rovers played Oldham tonight in a friendly at Boundary Park to help raise over £30,000 for the Supporters Trust.

Rovers still suffering from jet lag where beaten 2-1 in front of a crowd of 3570.

There's a very good unbiased match report on one of your sites (dont know if i'm allowed to say which on) :oops:

You have to remember though latics have had 4 matches in a week, and due to the fact we only have 10 professional footballers (four of whom are injured) it means the same team which mainly consists of youth and trialist have to play in all.

You didnt honestly look too bad, I was a bit shell shocked as to if that was Latics I was watching last night. We looked a completely different team than on Saturday and it seems Dowie's worked his magic. Dont worry about friendlies, they dont mean anything.

so anyway, Good Luck for next season, hope you murder city :p
