ABBEY Posted May 9, 2006 Posted May 9, 2006 Perhaps that loyalty blinded people a bit when it was clear that Souness' was losing the plot. 404923 SVEN ANYONE ...POT KETTLE SOOTY ARSE
waggy Posted May 10, 2006 Posted May 10, 2006 The only way we'll be relegated this season is if the board listens to some of the morons on this forum, and sacks Souness. Managers say that it's during the hard times you really see what you're players are made of. Well, I'd say the same about supporters. It's during these times you realise who the sulking crybabies are, who would sack any manager after some abysmal results, regardless of what he's achieved in the last few years. Pathetic. You guys have to realise the changes that have been made to both the Rovers squad and the way we try to play. It's very different, and therefore not a big surprise that it takes a bit of time before we get it straight. Yes, we've made a shocking start to the season, but things will improve as long as we keep Souness. Mark my words (26.10.2003). 124473 26.10.2003 they are marked
Billy Castell Posted April 23, 2007 Posted April 23, 2007 If we don't make Europe, we should sack Hughes and bring back Graeme. He got us into Europe twice, and didn't mess about with lazybones like McCarthy. He was a tactical genius way ahead of his time, and it was the players fault that they were too stupid to understand them. Matteo on the left wing would have done wonders on Christiano Ronaldo, as his tracking back and defensive know how would marked him out of the game. Would MGP be able to do that? SOUNESS IN!!!!!
