CornwallRover Posted October 31, 2003 Posted October 31, 2003 An experienced Rovers reserve side was held to a 1-1 draw with an Everton team containing a lot of youngsters. Blackburn went ahead in the 2nd minute through Matt Jansen. Out of sorts striker Cicco Grabbi had a golden chance to make the score 2-0 but saw the keeper save his penalty with his legs after Gallagher had been brought down in the box. Everton scored their equaliser from a penalty of their own in the 36th minute. Johansson broughtdown striker Osman in the box and the young striker dusted himself off to put the spot kick past Yelldell. The second half produced chances for both teams but neither keeper were in the mood to be beaten again.
