Shaddy Posted November 22, 2003 Posted November 22, 2003 Congratulations England. Well deserved victory. Lost the majority of the fifty-fifties with the ref too. Finally, an England team shows true grit. Can Rugby League have it's players back now?
Flopsy Posted November 22, 2003 Posted November 22, 2003 right now lets stick it to the Scallie @#/?s
Dan Furness Posted November 22, 2003 Posted November 22, 2003 Congratulations England. Well deserved victory. Lost the majority of the fifty-fifties with the ref too. Finally, an England team shows true grit. Can Rugby League have it's players back now? Sat at work depressed as not been able to watch it, sounds a great game. Not a rugby fan but im england till i die, well done lads. guna be a nice beer-fuelled day now for me!!! SWING LOW!
Alan75 Posted November 22, 2003 Posted November 22, 2003 So close, both teams deserve credit for an entertaining morning. Plus played in a clean and sporting manner, that some of our footballers could learn a lot from.
Flopsy Posted November 22, 2003 Posted November 22, 2003 apart from Woodmans punch at the start that is
Nate Posted November 22, 2003 Posted November 22, 2003 So close, both teams deserve credit for an entertaining morning. Plus played in a clean and sporting manner, that some of our footballers could learn a lot from. So true....still, it was obvious a drop goal was coming, argh!! Well done. Now hopefully Rovers can cheer me up!!
Tango Posted November 22, 2003 Posted November 22, 2003 Brilliant, Bloody Brilliant! Massive congratulations to England - deserved the victory all the the way! What a way to shove the Aussie headlines back down their throats (no offence) - WILKO! WILKO!
Rovermatt Posted November 22, 2003 Posted November 22, 2003 A bad start to what is bound to be a bad sporting day. Sh*t it was tight though. What a game! What an advertisement for Rugby. I wonder how many Saturday morning players will be trying drop goals next week...
Claytons Left Boot Posted November 22, 2003 Posted November 22, 2003 Well done England - Rugby (both codes) really is a game for sporting hard men unlike some other game I could mention where bottle-blonde, hairband-wearing, overpaid, players spend all afternoon rolling over and over in feigned, cheating agony. Congratulations England.
Morph Posted November 22, 2003 Posted November 22, 2003 Bloody hell, what a game! When the Aussies pulled it back to all square in the second half I really thought they would go on and win it, but thankfully we held on. Thought it was fitting that in a game where the Australians had largely kept him in check, a certain fly-half whose name escapes me should score the winning drop goal with the last kick of the match. Right, I'm off down the pub for several stiff drinks and some football match or other.
