News, first reported on this site on the 14th November, regarding a knee problem for Blackburn midfielder David Thompson Thompson Injury Worry has now been confirmed by the club.

Blackburn's Chief Executive John Williams is being quoted in the media, stating that Thompson has undergone an operation in America on his knee and may now miss the remainder of the season.
