Blackburn's young striker Paul Gallagher who scored his first premier goal against Birmingham City last weekend, has injured himself in training and will miss Scotland's game with Turkey in midweek, and is a doubtfull starter for Sunday's away game at Arsenal.

Despite breaking his nose against Birmingham, central defender Craig Short is expected to be available for the Arsenal game, as is Gary Flitcroft, who has missed the last couple of games due to a groin strain.
