Alan75 Posted December 16, 2003 Posted December 16, 2003 The EU Commission, the Premier League and BSkyB are being reported to have agreed a compromise deal allowing up to eight top live premier league games to be shown by terrestrial broadcasters. Early reports would indicate that Sky will honour its current contact agreement despite losing exclusive rights. European Commission spokeswoman Emilio Torres is reported to have told BBC Radio Five Live that whoever won the rights to the eight games would be able to pick fixtures featuring the top sides.
