Alan75 Posted May 17, 2004 Posted May 17, 2004 A first half goal by Andy Cole and a late equaliser by Stern-John in a game that neither team impressed. A result and display at Ewood which summed up the season, brief interludes of football, followed by a lack of imagination to kill off the opposition and again a post match interview revolving around Souness complaining about the officials. Not much more to say about the game really, I could cut and paste any of the previous match reports of this season, change the names and no one would be the wiser. Putting it bluntly, I was glad when the final whistle went and the curtain came down on the 2003-2004 season, thankful that we've retained our Premiership status. Rovers.
