New Kit. Details Released.

As the fans eagerly await the release of the new seasons kit, there is little news being released by the Ewood Park commercial department, regarding the design and manufacturers of the new kit. This secrecy is rather surprising bearing in mind that the Rovers the Moon Store, after the clearance sale, has been re-branded with Sports World and Lonsdale logos.

Sports World International, owned by Mike Ashley, are the parent company of the Sports Soccer retail chain, which has over 140 out of town stores selling all the main sports brands, including the their in-house subsidiary of Donnay, a brand which now sponsors Greg Rusedski and Darren Clarke.

In February of this year, Mike Ashley; who is said to be worth £400m and is on the Sunday Times Rich List at No 101. (April 19th 2004) acquired Dunlop Slazenger, to add to his retail and manufacturing portfolio.
