Blackburn Rovers, this morning, revealed that Turkish midfielder Tugay has signed a new, one year contract.

Tugay was out of contract at the end of last season and it was reported that one of his previous clubs, Galatasaray, were keen on signing him.

His new contract includes an option for another one year.
