Grabbi Graeme Posted June 21, 2004 Posted June 21, 2004 Although it is being shown on terrestial tv , I will be watching the game in the pub for purley atmosphere reasons (well thats what I tell the wife). I will be watching either in The Havelock or Ivy, where will the rest of the board members be watching the game tonight

Roaming Rover Posted June 21, 2004 Posted June 21, 2004 I'm playing footy in Halifax so will get home for around 7:30. I was planning on going into Blackburn but will not have time. So it will be The Park in Gt Harwood for me.
PABBY Posted June 21, 2004 Posted June 21, 2004 The Woolpack, Haslingden. Top totty behind the bar and the best pint of Guiness this side of Dublin.
Sydney Rovers Posted June 21, 2004 Posted June 21, 2004 On the couch at home, cup of coffee in my hand, heater on and trying to stay awake at 4:45am. Hrvatska, Hrvatska, Hrvatska!

tchocky Posted June 21, 2004 Posted June 21, 2004 The Times, an english pub around the corner. Or on the TV here at home if I can't get a good seat...
Tris Posted June 21, 2004 Posted June 21, 2004 At home for this one, having been out for the previous two and in anticipation of some bigger games to come. The problem in London (especially in the centre) is combining atmosphere with comfort ... if having a few chants going also means 20 minute queues to get pints of warm beer in re-used plastics for £3 - and the bogs are flooded ... watching at home with a few mates becomes a much better option.
cravenblue Posted June 21, 2004 Posted June 21, 2004 blues bar, at the home of football, free food at half time as well
broadsword Posted June 21, 2004 Posted June 21, 2004 Won't even be watching it at this rate. Will probably still be stuck at poxy work trying to get reports to poxy run.
roversWASmylife Posted June 21, 2004 Posted June 21, 2004 At home with a few mates coming along. Even though pub atmospheres are brilliant. I hate it; the smell of older people as well in a confined space doesn’t help either. At home, with mates each bringing a few beers is what we’re doing.
den Posted June 21, 2004 Posted June 21, 2004 I hate it; the smell of older people as well in a confined space doesn’t help either. ???
broadsword Posted June 21, 2004 Posted June 21, 2004 I hate it; the smell of older people as well in a confined space doesn’t help either. ??? Oi, RIML, what the flip are you on about?! Have you been going down the pub or a nursing home?!
bob fleming Posted June 21, 2004 Posted June 21, 2004 I hate it; the smell of older people as well in a confined space doesn’t help either. Bit harsh that roversismylife - you'll be old one day as well you know - I agree though that if they start weeing themselves and that it's a bit bad but you should learn to turn a blind eye. Cravenblue - I'm off to the Blues Bar as well, I'll be the one in the England shirt .
Grabbi Graeme Posted June 21, 2004 Author Posted June 21, 2004 Just rang work and they have give me day off tomorrow , excuse for more alcohol
