Presty On Tour Posted July 18, 2004 Posted July 18, 2004 fairplay i will be gutted if garry goes. i know he's not a goal scorer n all but he does his job on the pitch and as an earlier post said in a 50/50 tackle not many can go in harder that GF. we need keep him, a real team player!!

Lathund Posted July 18, 2004 Posted July 18, 2004 Scored a pretty good goal against, I think, Villa this season didn't he? Anyway, you can't keep a primarily defensive midfielder because he scores 3-4 goals a season. Ferguson can make good attacking runs too, and is probably a better finisher so we'll see some goals from him too.
rover6 Posted July 18, 2004 Posted July 18, 2004 According to the Sunday People today, Flitcroft could be on his way to Leeds... seems they are willing to match his wages too. I don't think so some how. Flitcroft is one of our highest earners.
waggy Posted July 18, 2004 Posted July 18, 2004 he scores some important goal's Thats got to be the lamest reason i've ever heard for keeping Flitcroft. I think your anti souness campaign is clouding your judgement Waggy. 3 goals last season, 4 goals the season before its not exactly prolific is it. Ferguson will score more than that in a season as will Thommo. thats nothing to do with souness,i think if we do not get a million for flitcroft we might as well keep him,i'm not saying he is a goal scoring midfielder, just scores important goals, like the one the beat man utd the season before last.

ally Posted July 18, 2004 Posted July 18, 2004 There was funny article in the sunday mirror saying that burnley had made a season loan bid for Flitters which was flattly rejected. cant find it anywhere on the web though
chris Posted July 18, 2004 Posted July 18, 2004 probably give him away for free, that seems the policy
