well, i dare say that souey is not a racist. if you are still unsure then why don't you confront the man and ask him that question yourself. in my book it has nothing to do with race, colour or creed....if they are not good enough or simply not getting along with the man anymore...then they gotta go and to bring the race issue into it is totally stupid and grasping at straws.

give you a tip....why not start your very own thread, that is actually relevant to football anywhere or something taht is about rovers....then you might get some decent answers.

i agree trueblue.....i was not sure waht to make of that question. i take it that neophox is new to this board and there is no better way to get insults thrown at himself than to ask a question like that.

Im sorry if I may have brought up this discussion but the dealings and

personal affairs with both Cole and Yorke and then to set Yelldell futher down the pecking order as a 3rd goalkeeper and Reid's bad confidence in

the game may affect us in not getting any coloured player to our team.

Why isn't Jemal Johnson who is a regular scorer in the reserves in our first team? he scores more than Grabbi, Yorke or Jansen did in the reserves..

actually nothing to so with Souness being a racist or not, but there is an extremely good change we will go through the season without a single black player in most games, must be the only PL team, not that it matters but uncommon

Now now lads and lasses. cool down. If the guy is new to the board or new to supporting rovers perhaps it seem like it. personally I wouldnøt think so at all and as someone said - he did buy both Cole and Yorke. But stil if the guy is new there should be allowed some leniancy (sp?). Give him the benafit of the doubt and just ask the question with a firm - No GS is by no means racist.

Would be a pitty to scare away Rovers supporters. Even if the question was daft.

Thiis not a rant. And I am not trying wind anyone up. Just reminding that there are peoble who doesn't nescesarely have years and years of interest in rovers. They should, in my humble opinion, be welcomed anyway.

more to the subject. I am quite sad to see the Cole go. He is a top class striker who will get goals. Steady is still new to the prem, Matty - well the jury still out and Dickov is a menace to defenders but a true goalgetter - not IMHO. Gally has potential but stil I don't know.

Fingers crossed Steady and Gally start banging them in right from the start so confidence is on a high

So nice re rovers supporters.....well....I've supporting rovers since the 1992 season when rovers got up to the premier league....I was 11 years old...

I love rovers and I just wanted to discuss the black player thing but now it's an end to it. I'll pull a plug on it..

Neophox, I think people would just appreciate it if you thought a little bit about what you 've written before posting it on the MB.

As I said earlier, there's no race issue in the disputes between Souness and Yorke and Cole. No-one personally involved has suggested that this is the case at all.
