RoverDrake Posted July 17, 2004 Posted July 17, 2004 Maybe we should do what Harry Redknapp did and just give him a fake name, like when Redknapp clearly lied and said he thought Amdy Faye's real name was Andy Henry.

We have Steb on site, speaking into a tin can and a string back to a tin next to Paul's ear Which is why we need donations................... I've got a ball of string you can have........ Lee says Reid, Flitty and Jansen are playing now. I have some Kevlar line, allows voice vibrations to travel up to ten times faster then standard string. Free for first 6 months.

Tris Posted July 20, 2004 Posted July 20, 2004 So tonight sees the second game of the German tour ... will be interesting to see who plays tonight. Rumour has it that Souness will start with no fewer than five mystery triallists ! Furthermore, he has sent the hit squad (Parkes and Saunders) round the hotel rooms of every travelling Rovers fan and issued dire warnings that the identities of the mystery players are to remain under wraps. As I understand it Andy Neild has been incarcerated in Rovers German base until after tonights game. And Deutsche Telekom are under strict instructions not to allow any calls to get through to Radio Lancashire. Apart from that, I've got an inkling he'll start with Dickov and Jansen up front.
broadsword Posted July 20, 2004 Posted July 20, 2004 As I understand it Andy Neild has been incarcerated in Rovers German base until after tonights game. Castle Greyskull?
Tom Pringle Posted July 20, 2004 Posted July 20, 2004 And Deutsche Telekom are under strict instructions not to allow any calls to get through to Radio Lancashire. What about if they phone up their mates and they report it to lancs?
broadsword Posted July 20, 2004 Posted July 20, 2004 Perhaps our lot will wear stockings (lederhosen?) on their heads?
Nuclearsox Posted July 20, 2004 Posted July 20, 2004 Furthermore, he has sent the hit squad (Parkes and Saunders) round the hotel rooms of every travelling Rovers fan and issued dire warnings that the identities of the mystery players are to remain under wraps. I can see a flaw in that plan and a potential leakage situation - No way will the hit squad find Jordan and Scotty in their hotel rooms. Jordan will no doubt be refreshing himself in a Stuttgardt Beerkellar at this very moment and Scotty will be wending his way back to Germany from somewhere east of Budapest.
Flopsy Posted July 20, 2004 Posted July 20, 2004 Perhaps our lot will wear stockings (lederhosen?) on their heads? only Dwight and he'll be wearing womens undies on his head
den Posted July 20, 2004 Posted July 20, 2004 De Pedro should play tonight. It's a four team tournament, 25 mins each way. Official site
broadsword Posted July 20, 2004 Posted July 20, 2004 Perhaps our lot will wear stockings (lederhosen?) on their heads? only Dwight and he'll be wearing womens undies on his head Obviously he's been stung by Graeme's criticism and now means business!
Blackburn Ender Posted July 20, 2004 Posted July 20, 2004 Can someone please post the kick-off time for tonight's match against Reutlingen? A friend in Germany lives an hour away and will drive straight from work. Thanks.
Paul Posted July 20, 2004 Posted July 20, 2004 I can see a good discussion here - the continent is an hour ahead
