rover6 Posted July 21, 2004 Posted July 21, 2004 Is it me or does that sound like the words of an inhibriated person? "inhibriated"?! Classic! "I'm schnot in any way inhibriated, oschifer" Inhibited by my own inhibriation. Maybe I should use the spell check from now on.

Dan Furness Posted July 21, 2004 Posted July 21, 2004 We were talking to Souey last night and he said the reason we didnt want Romeo De Pato(or who ever he is) is because we are going to try and sign him. Is it me or does that sound like the words of an inhibriated person? We didn't want him because we're trying to sign him ever heard of reverse psychology?
herbergeehh Posted July 21, 2004 Posted July 21, 2004 Yup, we told him to ###### off home to Italy, and then call him a week later and say: "Okay, you can come.. but no wages!!"
Blueboy Downunder Posted July 21, 2004 Posted July 21, 2004 so are people suggesting that souey has seen enough to try and sign him on a permanent transfer instead of a loan deal? this is indeed reverse phsycology. he scored against us at ewood for lazio season before alst did he not?
Brownie Posted July 21, 2004 Author Posted July 21, 2004 Does anyone remember the old US comedy sitcom, Soap, where the opening credits ended by saying "Confused ? You will be" ? Well I am.
Blueboy Downunder Posted July 21, 2004 Posted July 21, 2004 that rings a bell brownie, but i can't put my finger on it! anyway, i just hope that we can sign a classy striker before the brom game.

tchocky Posted July 23, 2004 Posted July 23, 2004 Have we hunted him down? Do we need to hunt down Gally?
JonnyH Posted July 23, 2004 Posted July 23, 2004 Have we hunted him down? Come on! That's Ostenstad - oh . . .wait a minute.
BRFC4EVA Posted July 25, 2004 Posted July 25, 2004 (edited) Typical, its all gone quiet about that italien player now. Are we gonna buy him, are Blackburn gonna make any official statment about it? Edited July 25, 2004 by BRFC4EVA
bob fleming Posted July 25, 2004 Posted July 25, 2004 Just a guess but I doubt they're going to make an official statement about something they don't want anyone to know about.
BRFC4EVA Posted July 25, 2004 Posted July 25, 2004 Its got to come out sometime, because they can't keep on hiding him (if of course we sign him).
T4E Posted July 25, 2004 Posted July 25, 2004 If we were to sign him the need to hide him will have gone........
bob fleming Posted July 25, 2004 Posted July 25, 2004 Isn't he coming for a trial for a few days or something first before we sign him (if he's good enough?) Personally I wouldn't tell anyone anyway even if he does sign. Just keep it nice and quiet. Make him play with a brown paper bag on his head.
joey_big_nose Posted July 25, 2004 Posted July 25, 2004 Isn't he coming for a trial for a few days or something first before we sign him (if he's good enough?) Personally I wouldn't tell anyone anyway even if he does sign. Just keep it nice and quiet. Make him play with a brown paper bag on his head. The Morrocan dude is due to show up next week although he is a different player to the one who was out it Germany. Apparently we cannot sign the Italian due to the revealing of the secret identity. That is something I cannot fathom.
AndyC Posted July 27, 2004 Posted July 27, 2004 I see souey has come out and said he's not a priority right now. Quite sensible really considering we have our own youth policy. It would hardly inspire any of the guys coming through the system. come on souey - surprise all the doubters and pull of a loan deal for someone with a bit of class!
SuperStella Posted July 27, 2004 Posted July 27, 2004 Djorkaeff is on a free. Might be ok for a season?
T4E Posted July 27, 2004 Posted July 27, 2004 Djorkaeff is on a free. Might be ok for a season? Really?? I certainly wouldnt say no, would be perfect to tide us over for a year while we assess Gally, Jansen and Stead and see in which direction we want to head.
krislu Posted July 27, 2004 Posted July 27, 2004 Djorkaeff is on a free. Might be ok for a season? Or Batistuta, Roberto Baggio, Joao Pinto, Enrico Chiesa....
T4E Posted July 27, 2004 Posted July 27, 2004 None of which are proven in the Premiership, whereas Djorkaeff is. We need to learn our lesson from last season and not draft in so many players without Premiership experience - in my opinion thats what really hurt us in the early part of last year.
