Is cuidad, sorry MGP, injured by cuts received in the reserves game against Wolves?

In which case, he could not play yesterday anyway.

Did MGP play badly against Wolves reserves before being substituted?

In which case how could he have deserved the shirt yesterday even if he was not injured?

Cuidad, do you at least acknowledge that MGP ws unconvincing to say the least in his Premiership starts for Rovers?

If you are able to look at the video of his performances and help him improve, then you will be doing MGP nd Rovers far more good than just having a rant. Having now seen the game at Norwich, Reid and Emerton did OK, particularly when we were down to ten men. It is not impossible for MGP to be better than them but based on his performances to date, MGP would not have had the bottle and brain to help Rovers get that point yesterday.

I think the majority of fans would be happy to see any player in the side who would improve the team. Having seen MGP play it's apparent he has talent but is not ready for the PL. Clearly the manager feels the same about other crowd favourites - Gally, Jansen for example - fans who want to see those players in the team don't find it necessary to insult everything and everyone connected with Blackburn Rovers.

Hardly a surprising outburst from somebody with a little too much rage and clearly not a fan of the club. The rest of the Norwegian contingent (and indeed fans of other clubs) on this mb are very good contributors who talk about all aspects of the team, not just one player.

I think MGP will become a good player but he clearly isn't one at the moment. His time will come and it looks like 99% of people understand and accept this. Hopefully MGP himself is one of those people.

Cuidado - you obviously want MGP to succeed in the Premiership, as do I, and I share your disappointment with the opportunities Mark Hughes has given him - however, outbursts like that will not endear yourself on this board because it shows a selfish interest in seeing MGP play and not Rovers to do well. You may not be a Blackburn fan - but you are on a Blackburn messageboard.

I'm pee-d of with Hughes reluctance to play MGP but if he is as good as I think he could be, he'll get into that team eventually - hopefully.

I have no reason why Hughes is not playing him as there has been no news in the local press-unlike De Pedro.On the other hand, Hughes is supposed to have rated him when he played for his national team against Wales.

Why is Hughes not playing MGP? Because we have two better wingers keeping him out of the side. Emerton is doing extremely well on the left side, and Reid is holding his own well enough on the right. From what Hughes sees in training, he must not see enough to hand MGP a starting spot, and he certainly hasn't done anything in reserve team matches.
