Ozz Posted September 18, 2004 Posted September 18, 2004 Just been thinking about Yakubu, Fuller and Berger against Amo, Short and Matteo, and I seem to have had a nose bleed. What`s happened to Todorov, is he still injured? or alive?

Finch Posted September 18, 2004 Posted September 18, 2004 This is the sort of game we have to win if we are to get out of relegation trouble. (plus I work alongside a part-time Pompey fan so we HAVE to get a result so he won't rub my nose in it on Monday!) Out of the top 5 clubs we have already played 3 of them so it's not surprising we're not doing well. Going out on a limb here 2-1 Rovers (was going to say 3-1 but reality has taken over)
rik Posted September 18, 2004 Posted September 18, 2004 come on sparky pull it out of the bag on your debut!!!
Cocker Posted September 18, 2004 Posted September 18, 2004 come on sparky pull it out of the bag on your debut!!! By the way you talk you would think that Hughsey is playing

herbergeehh Posted September 18, 2004 Posted September 18, 2004 It IS a fact ! I like the bench, good players in all positions - only a couple of extra places for De Pedro and Gally is missing IMO..

Interesting to see Amo dropped too... I will put money on Flitcroft getting subbed for Tugay at some point during the match.
Eddie Posted September 18, 2004 Posted September 18, 2004 come on sparky pull it out of the bag on your debut!!! By the way you talk you would think that Hughsey is playing Maybe he has come he to get his career started again?
rebelzero Posted September 18, 2004 Posted September 18, 2004 what happened to Short? (Amo came on 41st minute)
joey_big_nose Posted September 18, 2004 Posted September 18, 2004 what happened to Short? (Amo came on 41st minute) Injured, all to often unfortunately.
kingalan Posted September 18, 2004 Posted September 18, 2004 YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!! Matt's back...
HertsRover Posted September 18, 2004 Posted September 18, 2004 Super super matt Super Matty Jansen!!!!!!
mrsjansen Posted September 18, 2004 Posted September 18, 2004 One word for Souness. Matt jansen. All those of little faith. He's back. So too are Rovers
kingalan Posted September 18, 2004 Posted September 18, 2004 Sounds like Brett Emerton's havin a blinder!!
joey_big_nose Posted September 18, 2004 Posted September 18, 2004 Bothroyd is a revelation. Could really threaten both De Pedro and Pedersen for the left wing spot.
kingalan Posted September 18, 2004 Posted September 18, 2004 Is he not a striker, though? Start him in place of Stead, I say. I think the pressure of reproducing last season's form has got to the young lad. Heart-in-mouth moment as Fuller went down there....
TROOPER Posted September 18, 2004 Posted September 18, 2004 thought matty was playing wide & jay down middle.. 3 mins added time oh for fluffs sake come on you mighty blues
TROOPER Posted September 18, 2004 Posted September 18, 2004 why does this seem like such a massive result when we are only playing bloody pompey, we should be eating teams like this for breakfast...
modes98 Posted September 18, 2004 Posted September 18, 2004 Takes us level with newcastle & brum i believe! Great second half performance, emerton had a second half to die for! Good to see jansen back to his best and sparky instilling confidence into the team. Onwards and upwards
