No reason to doubt Graeme has gone. Enough said.

My favorite to take over, Gordon Strachen. He was my first thought, maybe not my best thought, on second thoughts I think it would be a good move.

Unless you know different?

Gordon Strachan for me. Mr Dynamite and I can't wait for the quotes.

Not Mike Newell, please!

Wouldn't mind Dowie, wouldn't be too happy with Megson, Strachan I'm not sure about.

What I am p***ed off about is that Souness spent 2.5 mill of the club's cash waited for the transfer window to slam shut then effed off!

I know you can't time these things, but it's still rank out of order.

Gordon Strachan or Mark Hughes !

The clubs shareholders are going to have to increase their financial backing for the new manager or its going to look grim.

Strachen, eh. You must know a lot about football then, son.

I must not know much either then rolleyes.gif

A lot of available managers

Mark Hughes

John Gregory

Strachan

Bobby Robson

Sven (Next week)

Ternant

Wilkinson

George Graham

Venables

There are plenty more available too. So who?

SHEARER anyone?

No doubt messrs

Graham

Hoddle

Houllier

Sturrock

Vennables

have already jammed the Ewood switchboard.

Moving to serious candidates-

Gordon Strachan

Otto Hitzfeld (the fans' favourite for the Newcastle job)

are both available without compensation and would grace the Rovers' Manager's job.

Managers whom I believe would be temptable to Ewood include-

Ian Dowie

Mike Newell

Worthington at Norwich

Good shouts but might not come-

Megson

Jewell

Mark Hughes

Soon to be available with a variety of attractive baggage-

Sven GE

Available with leggings-

Stan Turnip

Mark Hughes is not a bad shout.

Problem with getting in a manager from the lower leagues is whether he commands enouh respect from the players. Look at what happened to Sturrock.

Shearer said he wasn't ready to manage a team yet didn't he when linked with the Newcastle job?

Much bigger job than managing us though. Its his home town and no doubt it would be much greater expectations
