I have great respect for Hughesy but £6m for the legoland house is ridiculous. What on earth possessed you Sparky to live there! I used to live in Fenis cowles which was the area for the Rovers players and it looked better than that. Agree with above come and live in the Ribble Valley where Roque lives I believe - a man of taste!

In a Rovers World interview Benni is threatening to buy a local house!

Personally I prefer the house that all the fuss is about - the one Carrick is hoping to build and Sparky is complaining about:

all i felt after reading that article is that football is the most corrupted institution out there given where it started. by nature it should be a socialist sport, all you need is a ball, gets very hard to throw your full support behind such hard pressed flowers

Personally I'd rather have mark Hughes than any other manager i can think of who might be likely to come to us. Yes, he makes mistakes, yes his team selections are sometimes odd or appear so to us, yes, he's still learning his trade. However, I think he suits us as he doesn't live in dreamland like some managers and some of our fans seem to. He gets on with his job and doesn't whinge most of the time. He has the respect of the players and seems to have the sometimes oversized egos largely under control. He's brought through 2 players to England call ups who were nowhere near England quality at the time they joined us and his transfer dealings have been amazing in terms of the quality of player we have seen at ewood for the amount we have spent.

don't suppose eddie will agree though!

I've tried to find it on rightmove - could it possibly be this one?

http://www.rightmove.co.uk/viewdetails-195...=1&tr_t=buy

There are some trophies in a cabinet in there.

Don't think thats it - it mentions that it was bought 6 years ago, a previous link posted said that Sparky had lived in his house for 15 years.

i will ask on here as eddie is ignoring the question on the brum thread....

do you still want ********** idiot hughes as manager or not if not who????????????

Yes, I do. I think Hughes is doing a great job in the transfer market, but the rest I'm not too impressed with. I don't like him nearly as much as most on here do, but I certainly wouldn't get rid of him at this moment in time. I would think about it if he failed to address some things in the summer and if we got off to a bad start whilst playing the horrible football we've seen for most of this season.

For those who need their fix of Sparky, he is on Sky Sports One just now as a pundit in the studio (he seems to be doing more pundit work recently on tv).

Real Madrid are playing Levante (will be an end of season celebration for Real, as last home match and they have won the title).

Imagine facing all that white the morning after the night before.....

I was reaching for an aspirin just looking at that picture after a long day on the go.

Can'rt be sparky's kitchen can it? I'd have thought he'd have more taste than have a white kitchen.

Eddie I do believe you have missed the most important part of abbys question. Who would you replace him with?

7th Place and you want to sack him, close enough anyways, bit silly really.

I don't know who I'd replace him with. I don't know who is free and who would be interested. It's very difficult to know with managers. If it were my job I'd have a list of names, as it is, and as none of our opinions matter, I have simply expressed my opinion on the season.

Hughes would be seen as a speculative appointment by Chelsea, and he'd be a fool not to take it if offered. But why would the richest club on the planet need to speculate?

If he doesn't care about Rovers and they offer us a sum that only Abramovich can conceive of, then alright.

Otherwise Chelsea can go [insert extreme obscenity] [insert extreme obscenity] [insert extreme obscenity] [insert extreme obscenity] [insert extreme obscenity] [insert extreme obscenity] [insert extreme obscenity] [insert extreme obscenity] [insert extreme obscenity] [insert extreme obscenity] [insert extreme obscenity] [insert extreme obscenity].
