des Posted September 27, 2004 Posted September 27, 2004 I think a 1-1 draw will happen however a win would kick start our season as we can jump up the table so here hoping for a 2-1 win
DP Posted September 27, 2004 Posted September 27, 2004 I'll be in the Anti-G for 6:30pm then. Usually plenty of Rovers fans in there and I can think of worse sh*t holes for away fans' pubs in London. But then as Tris said, it's been done up!
krislu Posted September 27, 2004 Posted September 27, 2004 Rodney Marsh: "I would rather chew on a broken lightbulb than watch this. For once, I hope I'm wrong." Oh, shut up you grumpy old clown!
BRFC4EVA Posted September 27, 2004 Posted September 27, 2004 Rodney Marsh: "I would rather chew on a broken lightbulb than watch this. For once, I hope I'm wrong." Oh, shut up you grumpy old clown! I would find that reasonably funny if he hadn't already said that about 10 times last season. He is very boring and repetitive.
AndyC Posted September 27, 2004 Posted September 27, 2004 Any ideas on meeting up in pub before the match? The Antigallican's under new management !!! And for the first time in its history has some decent reviews .... ANTI-G opposite Charlton station Think we'd have gone there anyway ... but still Tickets are available on the gate on Monday night - £15 - bargain !! I'll see you in there Tris
broadsword Posted September 27, 2004 Posted September 27, 2004 Rodney Marsh: "I would rather chew on a broken lightbulb than watch this. For once, I hope I'm wrong." Oh, shut up you grumpy old clown! Well, go ahead then Rodders, you muddyfunster! Bit of broken glass will keep you quiet!

broadsword Posted September 27, 2004 Posted September 27, 2004 Not tonight mate, I'd never get back to Deal. Is the Chelsea game next month at Stamford bridge, if so will be there.
waggy Posted September 27, 2004 Posted September 27, 2004 very tough one to forecast my heart says the rovers-my head says charlton. charlton 1 v 1 rovers
Hanks Posted September 27, 2004 Posted September 27, 2004 2=1 to rovers, i was thinking 1-1 but i can't bring myself to agree with rodney marsh
den Posted September 27, 2004 Author Posted September 27, 2004 Team; Friedel Neill Amo Matteo gray Emerton Flitty Fergy Jansen Stead Dickov
Tom Pringle Posted September 27, 2004 Posted September 27, 2004 Interesting We have 2 left wingers and we don't bother playing either.
Hanks Posted September 27, 2004 Posted September 27, 2004 Interesting We have 2 left wingers and we don't bother playing either. neither of them have settled in yet and jansen is worth a shot
philipl Posted September 27, 2004 Posted September 27, 2004 Huge amount depending on Flitty performing well. On that basis, I am feeling pessimistic. If Flitty doesn't go AWOL, that is a side well capable of winning tonight.
Flopsy Posted September 27, 2004 Posted September 27, 2004 we're playing 4-3-1-2 with jansen in the hole - betchya also i can t get the chat room to work - im getting a white screen with a red cross in the left corner - do i have to download something
jim mk2 Posted September 27, 2004 Posted September 27, 2004 Flitcroft hit post when it was easier to score
brfcshabba Posted September 27, 2004 Posted September 27, 2004 It's Flitcroft we are talking about. If he keeps the ball below 2 metres its a bonus

1864roverite Posted September 27, 2004 Posted September 27, 2004 the only positive is that we havent conceded anything as of yet
Hasta Posted September 27, 2004 Posted September 27, 2004 (edited) Thats not quite true 1864. There are quite a few popsitives. The defence has held together quite well so far and all of the team are very determined in their tackles for 50-50 balls. But I'm not going to say any more incase I tempt fate! If we look awful then they are just as bad. Edited September 27, 2004 by Hasta
