In tonights Battle of the Roses, at Christie Park Morecambe, Rovers beat Leeds Res 2-1, in front of a crowd of 417.

David Thompson making a welcomed return after injury managed to get on the score sheet as did youngster Johnson.

Steven Reid also making a return from injury, was yellow carded.
